In his defense, most people thought Hulk would make close to 300 million because he is a first tier superhero that hasnt been done on screen and really relied on the state of the art CGI of today to make him look real, it suffered mainly due to its first hour being too long drawn by others turning away both fans and kids away. I too thought it would of made 300 million until the screenings took place.Same deal with MAtrix Reloaded which I too thought would make 350 million and more. But then again at the time, I wasnt paying too much attention to the BO and was a newbie at it

Why is under 200 mil ridiculous Magnus? Obviously there's at least 21 users here who definitley don't think so, and I'd bet there's plenty more like Zingaling who would say that under 200 is at least possible. Batman Begins would've landed UNDER 150 if it was in the same position as where Superman will be, with big competition in a frontloaded summer and likely without miracle legs. Predict what you want, but saying that under 200 mil is childish and ridiculous is a purely false fanboy statement.

Under $200M is very much possible, but it's not more likely than over $200M. At least IMO.

I don't think there is such a thing as a Superman fanbase anymore.
