Indy is now pretty much a lock for the Super Bowl. They're just simply the only dominate team left (And they haven't even played yet).

Indy really needs to lose tomorrow. I can't lose my Superbowl pick and still have everyone elses survive.

The only one left? Like NE was and the Broncos are not?

Yeah, pretty much. New England was the only team that had a chance to beat them in Indy. Maybe the Broncos will catch a break and the Steelers will squeak one out.

Indy offense is really a bad matchup for Broncos, who had been killed the last couple of times they played, if I remember right. Broncos' defense is built on forcing turnovers instead of pressuring quarterback (last in the league in sacks), and that formula can have success against most other teams, even Tom Brady, but Peyton Manning is one quarterback who thrives when you give him time to throw. Especially indoor, without an effective blitz package as New England had done in confusing Manning in the past, I have a hard time seeing Broncos stopping Colts from scoring at will. Manning had a perfect quarterback rating in one game against them, didn't he?

Yeah, two years ago his rating was perfect. That's exactly what I'm worried about. However, I think Payton would be able to score at will against pretty much any team in a home playoff game including the Patriots. The Pats were able to use the weather in previous years, which didn't allow the Colts' offense to establish their rhythm. Plus, they had Rodney Harrison who I think is the most valuable defensive player in the NFL.
This Broncos team is much better then the past two years, but then so are the Colts. I think this is pretty much going to be the best two teams overall to meet in the AFC championship game this decade. Other then the Broncos and Jets like 7 (?) years ago I think it's been a very long time since you have had two teams this good (well, include the NFC from the 90s and it's a different matter).
I think this year the Broncos are pretty much up there with the last two Elway teams. The first week always has a bunch of fluke games, and otherwise there were only two other close games that easily could have gone our way. So, it wasn't that far from a 16-0 Broncos team. Of course it takes luck to be 16-0 since a couple things almost always end up going wrong.

I think still overestimate the Pats and underestimate the Broncos. I would have given the Pats a 15% chance of winning (and only because any team can get lucky). I think the Broncos might have a 35% chance. The Steelers pretty much need a miracle.

Kind've bites that Pats lost, I was cheerin' for them.
Indy won't be stopped now, Peyton won't have that choke-factor against the Broncos.
