Hmm...I'm inclined mto say that in a match between The Netherlands and Brazil, Brazil would still win despite Netherlands' very strong current team.

Argentina's group is the toughest then Italy, the US have no chance to qualify for the next round.
England, Germany, France got easy groups

I would actually put Italy's as the hardest group, apart from Holland and Argentina, the other 2 teams are (really) crap. Ghana > got a couple of very good players, USA always seem to be able to perform against the big teams. Czech Rep. are an excellent team, I wouldn't be too surprised if Italy didn't pass the group stages.

I wouldn't call that at all. You have one team that won the qualifying group with Spain (although they didn't do well against Spain head-to-head), while the other is considered one of the two best entries from Africa (the other being Ghana) and at least two named stars playing in the European leagues.

I suppose you are right, but the thing is with Argentina and Holland, 2 strong consistant sides, I really do think Serbia and Ivory Coast will get absolutely destroyed. No chance whatsoever of progressing with those two heavyweights in the group. Now with Italy, I dunno, I just have a feeling that they're going to struggle, with the Czech Republic and 2 other pretty decent sides there aswell. The African Nations sides this time round seem to be very very weak (but then again, last time round they were quite deceiving). No SA, Cameroon, Senegal etc. The only one with half a chance to get to the second round is Tunisia, which I think is the best African entry.

I have a feeling the Japan team has improved the past few years. They drew with Brazil in the Confederations Cup this past summer, and they beat Angola and Honduras friendly matches also. They haven't fared as well with European teams though. It's gonna be tough between Japan and Croatia. Brazil, as usual, should make it easily.

How's it goin?
C'mon lets be serious, Portugal will most likely go out in the 2nd round, if they're lucky enough to get through the group stages.

It aint happening buddy! I reckon they're going out in the second round. They lost to Greece for godsake! And they were very lucky to beat England in the quarters. Netherlands will underperform, as will the Mighty England (as always). I'm thinking Spain will surprise and get to the semis, and maybe the final.

If it was England in that final, we would have scored about 5 goals against them Greeks, shame you guys couldn't even get 1 But seriously, its embarrasing having Greece as the Champions of Europe.
If somehow they managed to retain their crown in 2008, I will eat my steel capped work boots.

England will never win against Portugal, we won in 2004, we won in 2000, and we will continue to win

England are underachievers, they will underachieve yet again this time.
I'm thinking this cup is going to be Messi's cup or Toni's.

Last time the Argies won, they cheated to win against England. This time they will struggle to get past the group stages. Did you watch the (friendly) match against England a few weeks ago? We destroyed them. They haven't got that player. We have.

You didnt exactley destroy them, it was an equal game (but argentina didnt have Messi).
And please tell me you arent talking about Rooney, Messi and Aguero are way better than Rooney.
btw do you know Aguero??No.10 of Independiente, amazing lad, immense talent.
Watcha think of the CL draw, i know your supporting Real Madrid this time

damn right. but i dont think Real will beat the Arse, they've having a good run in the CL this year.
Liverpool have got an easy tie, but the best one has to be Chelsea v Barca. Hopefully this time justice will be done and Barca will crush them.
As for the England Argentina game, i must admit Riquelme was awesome, but you didnt have Messi, we didnt have our 2 first choice fullbacks. We last time I remember the Argies beating us was in penalties '98. We beat them 2002 and knocked them out remember. I think the only team at the moment, on paper atleast that can beat us is Brazil.

And yes Rooney is fucking awesome. Probably the best since. . . . . Ronaldo when he was young?
i seriously cant believe you think he is bad, have you seen him play? He is basically carrying Man Utd, and
they're second in the EPL

And they are out of europe (ManUre).
Arsenal had a very easy group, and they suck more than us in the league, so i see our chances are bigger, plus we signed cicinho and we will sign more players, while i doubt they will sign any, so we ROCK.
Messi>Rooney
btw there is a torrent for a barca-atletico match from 96-97 (yes Ronaldo and Figo at their best) that ended 5-4 if you want it?????
anyways here is a pic that made me laugh:

Yeah, i wouldn't mind that link.
The thing with arsenal is they never go for the big names when they sign a player, even when they really
in dire need of signing a big name; like in the summer when the sold Viera, they needed to sign a big player
like DAVIDS, but at the moment the new batch look very very good, Van Persie, Fabregas, Reyes, Senderos, Flamini,
etc.
Who do think will be out the door in January from Real? I think Graveson is going to be coming back
to England. Man Utd specifically. Cicinio? Is he really that good, how much was he?
btw I wouldn't mind seeing that Ronaldo video if you give me the link

^^^^^^
Selling Viera wasnt a mistake, failure to replace him was. They should get ya ya toure (olmpiacos) he is amazing and would be a very good replacement, but there is a catch, he wont play in the CL this year (more good news to real).
It looks like Mido is leaving for a few games, so more bad news for you as he has been one of your better players.
and WTF is happening??why are Liverpool playing so well?????
here is the torrent files (there are seeders now so download as soon as you can):
1st Half 445 MB --> http://tracker.denness.net/download.php ... f1f83564f9
2nd Half 405 MB --> http://tracker.denness.net/download.php ... 8eaef5866a
Facts:
- The 1st leg of this 4ter final ended 2-2 at the Vicente Calderon, Madrid
- Barcelona was coached by Bobby Robson, and had next to him on the bench a young Portuguese translator/assistant by the name of Jose Mourinho.
- A young Ronaldo and Figo were part of the millionaire bet of Nunez' presidency.
- Atletico Madrid were the holding champions of La Liga and were in the 4ter finals of the Copa del Rey and of the Champions League, where they played Ajax. Louis van Gaal, Ajax's coach, was on the stands taking notes on Atletico for the CL return leg at the Vicente Calderon.
- When this game was played it was considered best game of the past 10 years in Spain. That was 8 years ago and I haven't seen any to compete with it yet.
