Group E looks to be the toughest. Germany, Spain, and France got a good draw. Portugal got a break with Group D, but last time they were with a supposedly easy group too.

I think Group H is actually one of the harder groups. Saudi-Arabia is bad, but the Ukraine and Tunisia are actually quite good
To me it is:
B
C
F
E
H
D
A
G

I don't think Group B is that hard. Sweden has name, but they are just an average European team now, IMO.

Sweden has a fantastic team. And whoever underestimates Paraguay will pay for it. I think England will struggle to survive this group

Paraguay is a very good team. I see England and Paraguay advance from the group without too much trouble.

The last time we beat Sweden was in 1964. That's no win in 11 games, we had them in the group stages of WC 2002 aswell, we drew. In all honesty I think England drew a very good group, beatable atleast. Unlucky for Italy/Agentina for drawing the hard groups.

My early predictions:
Group A: Germany, Poland
Group B: England, Paraguay
Group C: Netherlands, Argentina
Group D: Portugal, Mexico
Group E: Czech Republic, Italy
Group F: Brazil, Croatia
Group G: France, South Korea
Group H: Spain, Ukraine
Second Round:
Germany (1A) beats Paraguay (2B)
Netherlands (1C) beats Mexico (2D)
England (1B) beats Poland (2A)
Argentina (2C) beats Portugal (1D)
Czech Republic (1E) beats Croatia (2F)
France (1G) beats UKraine (2H)
Brazil (1F) beats Italy (2E)
Spain (1H) beats South Korea (2G)
Quarterfinal:
Netherlands beats Germany
Czech Republic beats France
Argentina beats England
Brazil beats Spain
Semifinal:
Netherlands beats Czech Republic
Brazil beats Argentina
Final:
Netherlands beats Brazil
Van Basten is my favorite Netherlands player ever, and Netherlands has always been my favorite team.
I just realized Group E will face Group F in the second round, so whoever finishes second in Group E will likely face Brazil. That makes the prospect of Group E even tougher.

I think Brazil and Germany won't meet in the semi-final if both finish first in the group.

you're right. I just matched your prediction and you've made a mistake. Your semi-finals should read:
Netherlands vs. Argentina
Czech Republic vs. Brazil

Hmm, I don't think I made a mistake. I copied the matchups from ESPN. Looks like your semi-final matches should be Germany plays Czech and Netherlands plays Brazil.
I have Netherlands to finish 1st, while you have them finish 2nd in the group, so that's why I have Netherlands playing Brazil in the final, while you will have them meet in the semi. Me think.
