My friend, who I should mention is a BIG USC fan, says USC is a great team and it is there game to lose.
- In seeing part of the UCLA game, only game I saw of them this year, I think as R Bush goes, the game will go.

Texas wins in a close one. Reggie Bush will be the only reason the Torjans are close.

Im thinking Texas wins in a close game. Reminds me of when Miami went two season undeafeated, then lost in the Fiesta Bowl (to Ohio State ).

Texas in a very close game, though I wish USC would get blown out. Their more over-confident and self-arrogant than most NFL teams. It would be great to see them get knocked on their asses.

when most are saying a close game > any guesses on the type of scores we are looking at.
In the 20's, 30's, 40's, etc?

It'll be in the 30's...
USC will be ahead til the 4th quarter... or Texas will lead the whole game.
Either way... Texas wins a close one

so far, except for me, no one is considering USC.
I need to see RB stopped before I can change my vote.

USC kicks the living shit out of Texas just like they have done to my Beloved Cougars of WSU and to Oklahoma last year (also a Big-12 team of pussies that think they can beat surfer boys...USC could have hung 70 on them last year). Really, other than Ohio State, who has Texas beat?
Let us see....
Oklahoma...usually a great team, but this is a rebuilding year and the team is WAAYYY down.
Texas Tech...they dont play defense and they schedule patsy's to make their non con schedule easily winnable.
Colorado....Texas kicked their ass twice, and this was the BEST the Big-12 North could muster, not a good team.
Texas A&M....Good team that underachieved and earned a crappy record....Texas has trouble with these guys.
USC.....
Notre Dame....close game, but USC won, I think this cancels the Ohio State game that Texas won.
Oregon....a 10-1 team that is very good and won their last two games without Kellen Clemens...they were also jobbed by the BCS for the second time, the first when fucking Nebraska, from the Big-12 (BCS's favorite whore) lost to Colorado and earned a Rose Bowl bid to play Miami (it was an asskicking).
UCLA...I know the final score was an asskicking, but thats due to USC's talent level, and not to UCLA's ability...oh yea, and they only have two losses on the season.
Cal/ASU....both stumbled, but they are pretty good teams and won their non con schedules.
WSU...yea, there a bunch of pussies, but they play hard and had like 4 losses by less than 4 points and blew 4 or more second half leads of more than 10 points.
Answer....USC dominates these punks from Texas.

Well I just saw that USC is favored by about 7, right now I think, so all you people that are picking Texas can make some easy money.
ANYONE GOING TO PUT THEIR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS AND BET TEXAS TO WIN > SEEMS LIKE EASY MONEY!!!

So far so good for Texas. They've looked impressive so far.
Still plenty of time left though.

can you believe in a game this big how they, the replay guys are missing so many calls > what is it 2 or 3. One for each side at least.
You would think they would have one guy listening to the tv announcers to see if they say anything good.
****************
Also never having seen Vince Young play, isn't his motion alittle strange. At least he gets the ball there.
But will he make a good NFL quaterback???

It might have been a blowout if Bush hadn't lateralled the ball in the first half. Combining a 14-point lead and even just some part of the offense efficiency USC had shown in the third quarter, they would have won something like 50-34. But I'm happy for Texas and happy that the greatest individual performance I've ever seen by a football player didn't end up as a footnote.
