Quite disappointed with who the leafs got. O'Neil is really nothing special and Allison has to prove that he can play like he did before he got injured. Nolan still manages to fuck TO in the ass by being injured and not being able to be bought out so at least there's proper reasoning to why the people they got aren't so great. In the end, the leafs are pretty much in the same position as they were last year.
Philadelphia is once again gonna be a big contender with names like Hatcher, Handzus & Foresberg. It just gets on my nerves that one of the leafs biggest rivals went so deep in the free agency market while the Toronto stayed quite. Pittsburgh... Don't get me started on how good of a team they're gonna have now... Calgary & Edmonton are both contenders now. Those rivalries are gonna be even sweeter to watch.
Overall, it's nice to see the smaller markets become heavyweights in the nhl. No longer are the days where it's a rotation between Detroit, Colorado & New Jersey as to who gets the cup.

Alot of smaller teams getting big players, kind of evens out the NHL a bit.I like what is going on, it will make hockey fun to watch. My bruins picked up Leetch and Zamnov, hope that works out.The Penguins had the lowest budget in the league but they have made some good picks of late, now they have M Lemieux,S Crosby,M Recchi,Z Pallfy,S Gonchar starting to look like a good team again.

Im not a Toronto fan but thats cool that Lindros went there. If Lindros and Allison can stay healthy they will have 3 solid centers. Its great to see these players that rejected 7-8 million dollar contracts 2 years ago now signing for 1-2 million per season.HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Don't be too happy. Her'll be done within weeks into the season. He's a shell of his old shelf.

Considering he's had almost 2 seasons of resting, I think he'll be fine. And also he still managed to get 32 points in the 39 games that he played in 03-04. He's still got the potential.

My best friend is a Pens fan, he is so happy. They actually have a pretty decent team now.Im a Bruins fan and never really got over that year when Boston was up 2 games to nothing in the playoffs then lost 4 straight. , and Pittsburgh went on to win the cup. .I am really excited about the upcoming season, the League seems to have evened out abit, should make for some interesting games.

Well after leading the wings for a good 10-15 years now, he better well be a damn good leader.
