I don't want to brag, but my first round predictions are looking pretty solid, except for Sacramento, and perhaps Dallas (but, I still think they'll pull it out).
I'm expecting Philly to give up before tonights game.

Thanks, I needed that laugh!
If Philly can just stop Detroit's one superstar, they might pull it out. All the Sixers have to do is shut down Richard Hamilton... er, I mean Rasheed Wallace... make that Tayshaun Prince... no wait, Ben Wallace... scratch that, just stop last year's MVP Chauncey Billups.... crap, I forgot about Antonio McDyess!
Things are so much easier on the Pistons' side... just make Iverson miserable and it's in the bag!
This should be a cake walk, unless the Pistons get too comfortable and slack off, which has happened to them before.
I do think it will be closer tonight, and will predict a 93-87 victory for the Pistons. Iverson should play better without any quarters flying at him from the stands.

The Pistons defense disappeared for most of the game tonight. Ah well, I'm not sweating it yet. The Sixers had to have a monster offensive game and hit 55% from the field just to eek out the win in the last quarter. Plus, they still have to win all their home games and manage to steal one from Detroit at home. It simply won't happen.

Only 8 teams of out 176 have ever come back from a 2-0 deficit. The Pistons have won 13 of their last 15 games, and to be honest they looked in control of this one until the Sixers went unconscious from beyond the 3 point line near the end of the 3rd quarter. That guy that looks like Asthon Kutcher was hitting everything. That was a fluke. I'm not scared.

A fluke?
Check his career percentage from 3.
Do you watch the All Star game .. he has been in the 3 point shooting contest the past two years ... made the finals and lost both years. He is remarkably consistant.

Yeah, but his movies are only average. Just Married? Pfft. However, Butterfly Effect was ok.

YES!!! Dallas wins and is back in this series... And all this in spite of another dismal performance by Nowitzki (although he made two clutch plays by getting a steal and avoiding the nearly turnover by Terry). But thank god that Jason Terry had such a good game...

\:D/ \:D/ 12 more wins to go for the Pistons.
I will say that the Sixers put up quite a good fight, and are a better team than their record indicates. I watched every minute of the series and was pretty impressed with their team. With a 100% healthy Webber and perhaps one more solid player they can be a contender - IF they can get Iverson to not carry so much of the workload. He scored 55% of their points in this series. It's not hard for a team to shut them down with that kind of point distribution.
Ah well, bring on Indiana! I'm anxious to see another Pistons-Pacers series.

Aww, then they won't be contenders as long as he's there. He probably wasn't 100% since his rookie year.

The offseason will do wonders for Webber. Next year Iggy will be MUCH improved and he was already one of the best rookies of the year.
You are right, the Sixers are much better than their record. The Pistons were the god damn worst team for us to face. If we could have just managed to play Boston the entire playoffs could have gone differently. The Pistons match up very very well with us, it's too bad. Billups just makes AI such a liability.
I just hope Webber can get that knee better durring the offseason. He will never be 100 percent, but he looks 65 out there.

So far I'm 4-1, and was 6 games off on the ones I got correct.
I predicted Miami correctly, missed by 1 game.
I predicted Detroit correctly, missed by 3 games.
I predicted Phoenix exactly right
I predicted San Antonio correctly, missed by 2 games
I was wrong about Sacramento
How's everyone else doing?
