Mike Williams is slow, thus the drop in his stock.

Could Aaron Rodgers drop all the way down to the Pack?

Detroit drafted Mike Williams. That's the 3rd year in a row that they drafted a wide receiver in the first round, isn't it?

Yep.
Pick #2 (Charles Rodgers) Overall in 2003, pick #7 (Roy Williams) overall in 2004, and now pick #10 overall (Mike Williams) in 2005.
Honestly, with Az Hakim still on their team, I have NO idea what they are thinking. They have glaring needs elsewhere, and really should be adressing other positions.

Demarcus Ware welcome to the Boys! glad we are working on defense first. We might pick up either Shawn Merriman at 20 or Aaron Rodgers if either are availible.

So Joey Harrington better delivers this year for the Lions.

KC will probably take Derrick Johnson here. I'm expecting Rodgers to drop down to either Dallas or Green Bay.

I'd love to see Rodgers here, but the "Tuna" is trying to play for this season instead of building the team up for the future. Man what that kid could learn from Bledsoe as a backup this year.

Poor Rodgers. He's losing millions tonight just because all teams in need adressed their QB issue already last year.

I agree. The way he set his team up last year, he won't draft another young QB and let him rot on the bench for a year

If I was Seattle and Rodgers was available with pick 23 I'd take him. Hasselbeck just doesn't have it. (though the Seahawks have a lot more problems to address with this draft)

Well, let's see if Tuna goes out of character here and picks up Rodgers. As a Rams fan, I was pleased with the Alex Barron pick. That's plugging a huge hole we had last year. I was kinda hoping for Matt Jones from Arkansas, though. Can you imagine what Martz would do with him?

Looks like Bill might go for Marcus Spears. So now Rodgers look like a strong possiblity for the Packers

Who ever gets Jones is an instant play- off team

See: Marcus Spears to Dallas. Tuna has already two young guns which he refuses to use. As fo Rodgers he'll probably go to either Green Bay, Washington, Oakland or Atlanta. There's no way they let him drop to the second round

Well, Matt Jones is a Jaguar. Interesting pick. I thought for sure they'd go with a CB. This is strange...they could plug him in at TE, WR, HB, QB.....

It probably came down to value pick vs. need pick. The gap was too big to pass Jones
