As they are tied going into the last game - who will get the last playoff spot?
**************************************************************************
* Will New Jersey win to get the 8th spot as they hold the tie-breaker.
New Jersey 40-40 (Road: 17-23) 7:00 pm EDT
Boston 45-35 (Home: 27-13) YES, FxNE
***************************************************************************
* Or if the Nets lose, will Clevaland win to get that 8th spot - playing on the road.
Cleveland 40-40 (Road: 12-28) 7:00 pm EDT
Toronto 32-48 (Home: 22-18) WUAB

The Cavs are done. If Doc Rivers is going to rest his starters again like he did tonight, then the Nets are going to win. I personally (Being a Celtics fan) don't have a problem with that because I want the stars to be healthy for the playoffs, but it doesn't look good for the Cavs and Lebron.

NJ down 6, and Cle winning!
If lebron gets in, the NBA is so fixed.
No way Kidd and Vince lose the game to half the celtics team.

it's cleveland. new jersey could be losing by 40 and the cavs could be winning by 40 and the cavs would still lose and the nets will still win. god hates cleveland for some reason lol.

well, things are looking good so far. 62-47 Cavs over Toronto at the half and 58-47 Boston over NJ at the half. I'm not counting my chickens just yet though because i've done this so many times. I'll think the Cavs will have it won only to see them collapse. I won't be celebrating until it's over.

Just saw that the Nets are taking the 3rd quarter 30 to 8, did Boston pull there players at the halh????????????
If yes was that the right thing to do.
Then would it have been right not to play any starters at all.

Celtics players have left the building. 8 points? At least try to show you care about scoring a little bit.

Did abusing all of those smilies make you feel better?
I didn't think so.
Smilies have feelings too.

Now would be great time for James to ask for a trade to NY.

When Boston had the 19 point lead, all of their starters (Who were healthy, Raef Lafrentz and Gary Payton sat this game out) were in the ball game. The starting 5 tonight for the Celts were Antoine Walker, Paul Pierce, Marcus Banks, Tony Allen, and Al Jefferson. Midway through the third quarter, the night for Walker and Pierce were over, hence the 8 point quarter for the Celtics. If the Celtics had something to play for tonight then the Cavs would be in and not the Nets. Nebs wrote: Now would be great time for James to ask for a trade to NY.
They'd still lose.
