After today with 2 games left.
7. Philadelphia 16.0
8. Cleveland 17.0
9. New Jersey 17.0
*******************
With the wins by NJ and the loses by Clev / Phil - Which team won't be making the playoffs.

actually New Jersey is #8 now ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)
Cavs must win their next two games. Philly will win atleast one, as their schedule is easy and the Nets will probably lose to the Wizards.

That's correct as Nets own the tie-breaker with Cleveland.

I'm happy for Cleveland's suffering.
Seeing New Jersey get kicked in first round and losing lottery pick will be sweet. Unless they win vs Miami. Then it will be lousy.
As for playoffs, these are my predictions:
West
1 Phoenix - Memphis 8 (might not be that big of a surprise, first 3 games Memphis won)
2 San Antonio - Denver 7
3 Seattle - Sacramento 6
4 Dallas - Houston 5
San Antonio - Sacramento
Dallas - Memphis
San Antonio - Dallas
East
1 Miami - New Jersey 8
2 Detroit - Philadelphia 7
3 Boston - Indiana 6
4 Chicago - Washington 5
Miami - Washington
Detroit - Indiana
Miami - Detroit
Final
San Antonio - Detroit

not good: Dallas has to face Houston in the first round. I would have preferred Sacramento...

Speaking from Houston side, I wouldn't want to face Dallas either. I'd prefer Seattle, but Sacramento tanked on purpose today against Utah to get the No. 6 spot. Should be a terrific matchup between the Rockets and Mavs.

Cavs should be able to beat the Celtics tonight. Celtics aren't that great and they have nothing to gain by winning, so hopefully Cavs can take advantage of that. I also believe the Nets will lose to the Wizards tonight. So it's all gonna come down to the last game.
I also might be going to the game tonight :-) !

Sixers need Indiana to lose tonight.
GOOOOO SIXERS.
Not to have to play the Heat or Pistons first round would be ideal

If the Celts win tonight, I think they gain home court advantage during the first round, so they actually do have something to play for tonight.

Celts have their division sewn up... They will be the third seed and have home advanatage whether they win or lose tonight.

I don't think Indiana plays tonight, do they? Anyhow, I agree. Sixers have very little chance against either the Heat or Pistons. Although, with Shaq playing hurt lately, the Heat not firing on all cylinders, and considering the 76ers beat them recently, I think I'd rather play them then the Pistons.

You're right. I thought they said at the end of the Celtics game against Toronto that they still needed one more win to clinch home court. Up until that game they had explained that even with the Celtics finishing third, it doesn't mean they would have home court because the sixth team could still end up having a better record then them. Then I realized that the Pacers only have one game to go.
Now it's just to see who will travel to face the Celts. I'm not sure who I would want the Celtics to play, because both the Pacers and 76ers are dangerous teams. I think I would rather face the 76ers..................I think.
I also checked the Pacers schedule. You're right, the Pacers don't play tonight. I think they lost yesterday to the Magic.

Sixers do. They've played the Pacers five times this season and have beaten them all five times.

Heh.
Good. That would be huge if we get to play the celtics. They suck and we match up very well with them.

Yes, you lead the season series 3-1 against the Celts, but two of those wins came when the Celtics didn't have Walker, and we almost came back in that game where you guys were leading by 26 in the first quarter. If it ends up being the 76ers vs. Celtics, that will be a great series.

Imagine if Webber had played, you guys might have lost! But we still beat you guys in Philly when you had Webber and when we had Walker, so we beat you at your best. However, it's only one game, but that game was big since it essentially sealed up the division for us. If we get five games that are like that one in Philly was, it's going to be fun to watch. Even though I do think the Celts will win the series, it will go at least four, most likely five.

I would disagree, you played us when webber first arrived, I would say that was when we were at our worst.
I really think it will be a good series, but I also think Boston has little to no chance.

How is that possible? If it's going to be a good series, both teams will have to show up.
However, the two teams might (And after this conversation, with our luck) might not face each other.
