 Re: Who Will Be President?
In Obama's speech, I cried during the section about his Kansas grandparents, because he touched on all the right rhetorical touches to emphasize the disconnect between Midwestern values and the pettiness and cruelty of Trump. So many great speeches the first 3 nights. Still hours behind tonight.
I don't get how anyone paying any attention can vote for Trump, so I'm communicating with Trump voters in the Midwest and western states. Their hatred is irrational and their facts are false. I can't get through their bubble of misinformation, no matter how much I grant some of their grievances and attempt to show them more accurate information. They can't discard their Machiavellian Cruella Peron cartoon version.

Obama destroyed the Republican Party, it will NEVER be the same thanks to him blowing out to establishment candidates.

http://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-election-forecast/538 has the electoral college tied at the moment. Of course they have said numerous times that we need to see the state of the race in a couple of weeks.

Trump's plan seems to be all publicity is good publicity. Hence throwing gas on the Putin thing and going after Khan. He is trolling

Oddly shows Hillary with a lead in NC, but Trump with a lead in NV and IA. MS and AZ within reach for Hillary. Hillary has a slim lead in MI and PA -- which will be critical to keep (as Jiffy pointed out in that article he linked... Michael Moore is convinced Trump wins in MI). Some of the state polls are clearly outdated.
Obama and Biden were golden last night. I wish Obama could gift Hillary his oratory abilities. Bill would probably be much happier.

Yeah she has turned things around. And Trump keeps putting his foot in his mouth. The debates will be interesting, unless he decides to not do them.

 Re: Who Will Be President?
It does feel that the feud with Khan's family is becoming the defining moment of this election and finally has voters say enough is enough. The poll numbers for Trump should continue to get worse this week.

 Re: Who Will Be President?
Obama today: Quote: “The notion that he would attack a Gold Star family that made such extraordinary sacrifices on behalf of our country, the fact that he doesn’t appear to have basic knowledge around critical issues in Europe, in the Middle East, in Asia, means that he is woefully unprepared to do this job,” Obama said at the White House, during a news conference with the prime minister of Singapore.
Obama also challenged Republican leaders to stand up to Trump, saying their condemnations “ring hollow” as long as they still pledge to vote for him. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... ge%2FstoryThis Khan debacle is not going away any time soon.

 Re: Who Will Be President?
I'm no fan of Trump but both I doubt that the Khan thing would be his downfall considering Assange is going to release more and more damaging information about Hillary's email. I don't know what Assange's game plan is because he could have released them much earlier when Sanders was still running

 Re: Who Will Be President?
Adding to the list of growing problems Trump and his campaign has this week, he should consider hiring a new spokesperson. Katrina Pierson is getting worse and worse by the day. Sure, it was definitely Obama's and his administration's fault for Capt. Khan's death in 2004... he wasn't even in the U.S. Senate yet, lady.

Even conservatives like Meg Whitman - HP CEO who ran for governer as a Republican before and has been a big GOP fundraiser - are endorsing Clinton. Whitman even went as far as saying she will be fundraising to support Clinton's campaign.
I am looking forward to seeing the debates. Hillary and her 40 years of public service are going to destroy that orange-faced piece of excrement.

Trump has been laying the groundwork for trying to wiggle out of them already (talk of rigging, bullshit talk of how Hillary scheduled the debates against NFL games on purpose, etc.).
