 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
It depends on what the Cavs do next. Getting Love is the obvious move, but how much will they have to give up? Right now the rumor is they are offering Waiters, Bennet and some first rounders (they could potentially have Miami and Memphis' picks next year if they land in the right place). Sota would be foolish to take that deal, but if the Cavs can land Love without giving up Wiggins they are gonna be scary.

Well yeah. But I don't think Love will be going to Cleveland.

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
If not I still think they can take out Indiana. Stephenson is probably going to get a similar offer to Hayward and Parsons. The Pacers will lose all ability to add more depth if they match it. So all they have to worry about is the West, unless the Bulls somehow get Melo.
The Spurs never win back to backs. OKC need more scoring and they have no cap room. The Rockets should be favorites to advance far, but you could've said that last year and they got bounced in the first round. The Clips should be the favorites, with Cleveland #2 for now.

Nice job with the letter LJ total opposite of the decision. Start celebrating Cleveland cause you'll get a championship in the next 3 to 5 years

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
Regarding Spurs never winning back-to-back, I wouldn't hold that against them. They were pretty much a Fisher 0.4s and Dirk 2+1 away from winning 4 straight. They do have everyone back, and I don't see significant dropoff in productivity for any player next year while Leonard should continue to grow. I would consider them the favorite regardless what happens elsewhere.

And if they can sign Pao Gasol, they'd be even BETTER than they were this year.

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
I don't think CLE without Love is good enough, but I have to believe they're trading for Love. The combination of Lebron not mentioning Wiggins and Bennett in the letter and that Wiggins hasn't signed his rookie contract is ominous
Still think the Spurs could beat them but the rest of the East, good luck

I don't think the Cavs are better even with Love, they just have a much much easier road. The downfall of the Heat will make everyone better though, so it's still possible that the Spurs add something else to give them that extra push needed to win the mighty west three times in a row.

Bosh stays with the Heat. Isiah Thomas goes to the Suns. What is going on??? LeBron has broken the rules of logic.

Yeah, Rockets missed again.
Hoping to see Gasol signing with Spurs.

Gasol goes to Chicago. Really great for them if Rose can play games.

At least East is looking to gain stars instead of losing them.

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
So the Warriors basically chose Curry, Klay, Iguodala/Barnes, Lee, Bogut over Curry, Afflalo, Iguodala, Love, Bogut. (apparently the Magic were offering a Barnes for Afflalo trade, if the Warriors traded Klay for Love) Incredible.

Mavericks will surprise all and make it back to the finals.
But this time Lebron will get his revenge and beat the Mavs.
