 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
I mean, if you look at the regular season, OKC has gotten slightly better over the years, especially defensively. And Durant is better than ever. But to see them struggle like this in the playoffs every year, that falls on the coach.

I think we'll get to four game 7's. Spurs and Raptors will close it out tomorrow.

Even 3 is the record in the first round (7 Gs only go back to 03). Guessing it's 3 or 4 total.

If Westbrook plays like that, he won't, then OKC is the favorite to win it all.

BKN owned us tonight, but series has felt like 7 all the way. Whoever shows up between Deron and Amir prob wins, both have had crazy swings in this series

Howard is taking over this 4th quarter. However, Lin should not be allowed to take 12 shots and commit crucial turnovers in a do-or-die game.

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
That was a moving fade away at least a foot behind the line. The play on the Houston end was pretty crazy on its own but holy shit. Lillard is the truth.

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
No idea why Parsons was guarding him. And deciding screening the inbounder was more important than defending 5 on 4, was also pretty ridiculous decision

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
Thunder should roll the Grizz now that Z-Bo and Tony Allen are out. Hoping the other two games make up for that.

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
Even though it took full 7 games, look like we'll still have all the favorites advancing, if Spurs continues the trend tomorrow.

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
LAC GSW was easily one of the best Game 7s I've seen, one of the few where it's up in the air at the end
GSW hires Mike D'Antoni or George Karl next so they can run a lot, put up huge offensive numbers and disappoint in the playoffs

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
Isn't that what they already do? I don't think GSW should fire Jackson just yet. They would be a 55+ win team in the East. The West won't always be so crazy, and Golden State will take advantage of that when the time comes.

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
I'm ok with 1st rd loss after taking such a big step forward, so long as it was 6 or 7 Gs
Kidd putting in Anderson for Livingston was turning point of the series, never figured out how to guard the Nets with 1 more shooter and a constant need to double Joe Johnson when Derozan or Vasquez were on him. Probably should've had Salmons or Fields on him all game and just lived with the worse results offensively. Raptors had more players liabilities on one end than the teams who advanced. Derozan Vasquez JV are poor defenders and Salmons Fields Hayes are offensive scrubs while Ross until the last game couldn't be counted on this series on that end.

It was looking like Miami was going to have a cake walk to the Finals but noooooo! Hawks & Raps blew it! Now Heat probably won't even make it to the East Conf final.

They might be able to sustain 55% fg... but 51% 3pt is stupid. STUPID.

 Re: NBA 2012-13 Season
At least he didn't go Dirk on us and have to accept the MVP while not playing in the playoffs. Clippers won't be able to sustain that kind of ridiculous shooting %, and I truly hope we get a few great games out of this series. They just looked like a much superior team last night and I have a hard time believing that the Spurs or Blazers will be able to slow them down. LeBron will though. They have nobody to guard him and he can shut CP3 down.

Well that's what it's for. So... Yes. He obviously deserved it. And I think it's a little ridiculous he didn't get all the 1st place votes.

Wizards are fulfilling their potential but I'm somewhat upset that people are going to start to hype them up going into next season. A lot of their succces is really due to the fact that the East is so weak and that Arzia/Gooden are both playing significantly better than expected. This team doesn't even make the playoffs in the West. I don't even know if they're a 50-win team next season. Take it with a grain of salt but http://www.balleralert.com/xn/detail/20 ... z30x8GQM8BWAS is getting a Noah/M Gasol/etc. type franchise big impact out of Nene in the playoffs, which he's always had the talent to be but just not consistently enough. Most interesting thing for WAS is it would be good career move for Melo to sign there. Marquee enough market for him, stays in East, gets to be on top 2-4 team in conf with MIA aging. Yes that contract could be trouble after a few years but WAS is already vet driven, so they may as well just keep going in that direction other than Wall and Beal, since they're far too shitty at drafting to build an all young team
