On the NFL Playoff Challenge, I have had Manning, Lynch, Moreno, D. Thomas, Welker, J. Thomas, Seattle's kicker, and Seattle's D since week 1. Now I get a 4X multiplier for all of them for the Superbowl. I don't know if I actually have a chance to win, but it's pretty awesome to not have to change my lineup the whole way.
Hopefully Moreno is okay to go in two weeks. I don't know how bad his chest injury was.
I don't like the 49ers or the Seahawks, but I really dislike Kaepernick in every way except for acknowledging his talent and athleticism. Definitely rooting for Denver in the Superbowl.

I feel the same about Richard Sherman. He fucking better not win. Hope Peyton & the offense light his ass up.

I sure hope so. We haven't had a blowout SB in a long time

As a Chiefs fan, I hope the Seahawks destroy Denver. I loath the Broncos.

What?
Top defense. vs. top offense. We know which usually wins.
Denver could def. win, but they only scored 26 against NE. In much worse weather and against a much better defense, expect that number to drop.
Denver's offense might be the most statistically overrated in NFL history. All they do is run screens and pick plays with the occasional manning lob to the outside. Mannings level of play isnt even close to what he was 10 years ago regardless of what statistics say.
It was sad seeing how much better Brady throws the ball but how inferior his targets were.

Richard Sherman really is the best corner in the NFL. Just to think that people used to say Revis was better then Sherman

Glad I'm not the only one who notices Brady's superior passing abilities as of late.

Revis was used very poorly this year, he is easily the best CB in man to man, though he does hold a lot.
That said, I love big sherm & he is a beast. Loved him in college to, always knew he would be a steal.

Brady overthrew the ball like eight times today pretty badly. He is not superior to Manning at all.
If Denver doesn't commit any stupid turnovers, they'll beat Seattle handily.
Completing deep passes in football - unless you are Andrew luck or Aaron Rodgers, whose deep balls are beautiful - are just as much, if not moreso, about the receiver. Tom Brady missed 2 deep balls to day, one to Julian Edleman and one to Austin Collie. Both are white, under 5'11, and run 4.6 40s. I can assure that if those same throws are made to Demaryius Thomas, both are completions as Thomas is a much faster and larger target.
That said, Brady has never has good deep balls & the only year they seemed good was 2007 when he was throwing to Randy Moss who talent wise is easily the greatest receiver ever. Many of those throws were terrible but Moss was so good he could adjust by out positioning, our jumping, or just flat out burning the defense. Brady can't get away with those throws now because he doesnt have a Randy Moss or Demaryius Thomas (not that DT is close to as good as Randy Moss was).
Brady has a faster release, much more noticeable zip on the ball (and he doesnt have to put his entire body into it like Manning does), and more stronger down field arm than Manning.
I didn't say Brady's play was more impressive than Mannings. But, i do think if you put Brady on the Broncos and Manning on the Jets, the score is much more lopsided than it was.
To be honest, just watching Manning throw, he is not even like the 10th most impressive QB in the league. This season is not even close to his personal highest level of play, that would be 2004. Regardless of stats, I was more impressed by Brady in 2007, Manning in 2004, and Aaron Rodgers in 2011 than I have been by Manning in 2013.
Easily Manning's most impressive attribute is his mental dominance of the game as he is hardly physically dominant anymore. Manning knows every defense before the snap & has the tools to make use of his knowledge. He is an elite painter with the most elite of canvases and paints to work with. I give him all the credit in the world his mental astuteness, but his stats are HIGHLY inflated as a result of the supporting cast surrounding him.
So many of his touchdowns came on screen passes where he makes a 5 yard pass and gets credit for the receiver burning everyone to the end zoe. Or on PICK PLAYS - my goodness, they are so illegal and they are all denver does - such as when Welker body checked Aqib Talib to get Talib off of Thomas's underneath route. Thomas dropped the pass and Talib got hurt on the play.
To say Welker pick block 10 yards past the LOS before the ball was thrown is illegal is an understatement.

I do not follow your logic. The Pats held them to 26 points, I do not understand why the infinitely more talented Seahawks defense would not have significantly more success, especially given the anticipated temperature. 26 points on a defense down 6 starters hardly screams "blow out".
I don't know if Denver is ready for Seattle just like San Francisco was NOT ready for them the first time they played last year. Sherman, Chancilor, Thomas, Irvin, Bryant, Clemons...that defense will punch these guys in the face, and they will get after Peyton Manning.
Frankly, I dont think Denver has faced anybody whose physicality even resembled Seattles. The games with the pats and chargers were just a play or two away from going their way. Denver in a blow out seems highly unlikely. Seattle is a very, very good football team.

The Seahawks have the best secondary in the NFL, and Sherman is the best CB. Those are both huge factors, also historically the few times the best defense teams played the best offensive team, the best defense team won. The last time was Tampa Bay over Oakland. I favor Seattle in a low scoring game. Also, the weather can't be discounted. Right now it looks like it will probably be in the teens to 30s with snow a possibility. If does snow, I think Seattle could dominate.

Snow traditionally give the offense an advantage. Receivers running straight will own DBs who have to turn and run.
Remember this game?
