She's hardly been on this season so far. I think only two episodes out of five. That will change as the season progresses, though.

The same exact episode continues 5 times now. Let's see:

Barney and/or Robin have a fright about marriage- check
Marshall is wasted- Check
Lily hates Ted for a minute- Statefarm Double Check
Katie Holmes cameo- check

BRING MARSHALL BACK!

Wedding gift sub plot was the only fun part (3 minutes) of the entire thing

Also, random note, I believe this was the first episode without "Thank you Linus".

"You chose...poorly."

I really hope Lily opens this cliffhanging phone call to Marshall with "what the damn hell?!"

Also, Anna Camp is delightful. Why doesn't she have her own series?

I hate to say it because it would be a really sad ending, but I'm becoming more and more convinced (and I've had this feeling since the 'Time Travelers' episode last season) that the mother is dead in the future scenes and that's why Ted is telling the story of how they met.

Anyways, great episode last night. Anna Camp was hilarious.

Best episode since the premiere. Sherri Shepard actually had something to do and progressed the storyline forward (though I hope it's less anticlimactic than "I saw you two at the carousel"). Girl from pitch perfect was annoying and completely unnecessary. Still, a pretty funny episode.

"No Questions Asked" was like the definition of a filler episode, but I had fun with it. Barney named doves Courtney Dove and Kurt Coobain. Hee.

I can't believe they would end the last episode like that end then have it drawn out yet again. This episode has almost been unbearable.

Yep this. Though it's been a while since we've seen all five characters share the same plotline like this.

I did enjoy Robin's laughing at using blanks for a 21 gun salute at a wedding.

Ehh it might not be so bad. It's not going to star the characters of HIMYM so it's not like these characters are going to be continuously dragged out.

Also, Carter & Bays will still be on board and they will have a better shot with success doing this then starting on something completely new (RIP Goodwin Games).

This show could also bring just as much fun as HIMYM. It's neat to hear that they may use McLaren's in this (would be interesting if they took over the current gang's coveted booth) and it could be a fun way to have HIMYM characters randomly pop in just as a quick callback.

The season premiere was good but the other ones haven't lived up to my expectations. I will watch the rest of the season to see what happens next but seasons 4-7 were the best.

Modern Family spinoff sounds better, Riggle deserves it.

Last night's episode, "The Lighthouse" was easily the best of the season!

I don't understand this fucking show. Why the hell would they show the proposal this early? I mean, if they're gonna show other big moments during their life throughout the season, I'm fine with it. But that was out of left field.

Ted proposing to The Mother and Loretta embracing Robin as a "mom" were SO SWEET.

Also, "Try a Little Tenderness" is one of my favorite songs and I'm obsessed that they ended the episode with it.

lol I thought it was one of the worst episodes of the entire series. It was about scrambled eggs.....Also, Daphne and Marshall's side story was the worst side story ever. I feel embarrassed for the writers and actors. How are we supposed to feel anything for the proposal scene when the writers won't even give us a chance to even get to know the mother?

That being said, Lily is on fire this season. She's becoming the only part of the show worth looking forward to.

I liked the last few minutes of last night's episode a lot but the episode as a whole was kind of meh. I'm ready for the stakes to be raised a bit this season. I hope Marshall actually arrives at the wedding soon.

Well he was in Cleveland, right? I believe he still has 7-8 hours to go?

But it wasn't really about scrambled eggs.

I guess I'm in the minority on here because I think this is one of the show's best seasons creatively and last night's was no exception.

:funny:

Best episode of the season for me.

Once again, we're going to find out more about the mother as the season goes on. Heck the 200th episode is going to be her story. The proposal scene was a great scene and it's nice to see these little flash forwards. It gives enough of a progression of the story after the events of Barney and Robin's wedding to give those who wanted to see the mother before show's conclusion a way to have her story with Ted told without swaying away too much from the meaning of the show which is just to meet the mother.

I get that they want to include these flash forward scenes. And they're great scenes... but we've had, what, ONE episode with the mother? And they show the PROPOSAL already? Ridiculous.

 Best episode since the Season 7 Finale
