Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2012-2013 Edition
I wonder why they did that. I expected it to get renewed for another, but two? That seems to be jumping the gun a bit.

I mean, it has a syndication deal with Oxygen so I guess the more episodes the better in terms of moneymaking, but still.

It's gonna be sad to see how down Glee will go then.

"Ready For Love" has been cancelled. "Grimm" will be taking over its timeslot.

Dateline will replace Grimm in the Friday 9 pm hour. I'll say it for the millionth time, but NBC could have avoided all this nonsense if they had just given Parenthood a full season like it deserved. #bitter

Hopefully they won't make the same mistake the next season and will increase the episode order.
Now, what is going to air in this slot until Grimm premieres there on the 30th?

Future of The Lying Game/ Bunheads still uncertain: http://www.deadline.com/2013/04/future- ... -bunheads/They'd kind of be stupid not to renew The Lying Game, but I don't care about that show personally. I do really, really hope they renew Bunheads. It started off shaky but really has improved a lot, IMO. I think it's probably the best show quality-wise that ABC Family has. Granted, I've never seen Pretty Little Liars.

We may as well say Vegas is canceled . Its move to Saturday night last night gave it lower ratings than a rerun of The Mentalist . http://www.thefutoncritic.com/ratings/2 ... _20130420/

I'm 100% serious, I follow TV news regularly and I thought that show had been canceled YEARS ago.

Are guys kidding? lol
It won a few Emmys since returning to and every season it has been on Comedy Central. To be fair though, yeah, it wasn't that much buzzed about after the first season of its Comedy Central run.

Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2012-2013 Edition
In addition to obviously worrying about "Happy Endings" and its fate, I'm also REALLY concerned about "Suburgatory." Not necessarily that ABC is going to cancel it (I think it has done well enough and Jane Levy getting a lot of exposure due to the Evil Dead remake only helps) but I do think it's very possible that they could pull the exact same thing they did with "Happy Endings" and "Cougar Town" and renew it for a third season only to constantly throw it around the schedule and treat it like shit.

The Futon Critic is reporting that NBC has renewed "Revolution," "Chicago Fire," "Law & Order: SVU," "Grimm" and "Parenthood" for next season. at the last one.

Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2012-2013 Edition
The CW has renewed "Hart of Dixie" ( ) and "Beauty and the Beast" ( ) for additional seasons. I guess "The Carrie Diaries" is officially toast. Also, marking the first pickup of the new season (unless you count the straight-to-series "Dads" and the untitled Michael J. Fox comedy series), "The Originals" has been picked up.

Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2012-2013 Edition
Just like last year, "Hart of Dixie" got renewed partially because of how huge it is on online platforms such as Hulu. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-f ... xie-447339Makes sense. I'm a fan of the series but I almost always watch it the day after airing or a few days after, even though I've seen every episode. I also think this is one of the few CW shows that could syndicate well, so they're smart renewing it.

So glad they came to their senses and gave Parenthood a full season. I can't believe they bothered to renew Beauty & The Beast . The Carrie Diaries could also pull those numbers after The Vampire Diaries.

Re: Renewed, Cancelled or Hiatus Bound: 2012-2013 Edition
Apparently it has a lot to do with it being from CBS Studios. I think most if not all of the pilots are from WBTV, and since CBS co-owns the network along with WB they need at least one series on the air (the only other one they produce that's airing now is "90210" and that's ending).
