 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
Good start.
And do the Jets fans chanting for Tebow realize that he lost with a much better team to the Patriots 45-10 in the playoffs a few months ago?

 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
The only thing that could make this game even better is if Ryan now decides to bring in Tebow.

 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
Despite Sd's loss, I still consider them the favorite to get the AFC's last wild card spot. they are likely to run the table in December, which they would have the head-to-head tiebreaker against Bengals if they also finish 9-7.

I could see them winning their last three, but they're not beating Cincy or Pittsburgh.

 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
It's in the month of December, so Norv Turner's team will beat both. I wouldn't be surprised if Pittsburgh lose every game for the rest of season, at most they win only 1 or 2 more based on the way they played recently.

 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
The Steelers are down to their third-string QB. Once Rapelisberger comes back they'll be fine.

So, it turns out the Giants aren't dead after all. Shocking.

Hopefully next week's game against the Redskins is just a little more competitive.

 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
0 TD's, 5 INT's for Drew Brees and the Falcons somehow only won by 10. They're the NFC's version of the Ravens. They've got to be the least dominate 11-1 team in recent memory. The 49ers (especially with Kapernick) are much better. And after this weekend we'll see whether or not the Giants might be second (the Bears are too banged up, at least for now).
And Brees' streak is done. Brady has the second longest streak of throwing at least one touchdown in a game so he's now the leader with 43. He needs 12 to pass Brees.

 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
I was surprised he lost that streak. I thought he'd make that unreachable but Brady has a solid shot at it now.

 Re: 2012 NFL Discussion
Brees and Julio Jones just fucked me big time in my fantasy. Those picks were bad though, and not being able to score before time round out on 3rd and goal in the 2nd quarter bit them in the ass big time.
Atlanta Defense is much better than the offense. The problem is that once they get a comfortable lead, they just stop trying and have to fight for it by the end. I really like the Giants chances again, but I wouldn't count out Greenbay either.
