Re: WOKJ 12' NFL Fantasy League Week 7 Revoseason
This is so ridiculous Quote: Matthew Stafford scored 57.00 points, the highest of any player on McMeowski this season. Rob Gronkowski scored 39.00 points, the second-highest TE score of the week and the second-highest TE score in the league this season. Doug Martin had the best RB score of the week and the second-highest RB score in the league this season with 45.00 points. The 288.00 points scored by McMeowski was the highest in the league this week and the second-highest in the league this season.
Four of the six losses for The Cursed Season this season have come when their opponent had their highest-scoring week of the season
By the way: Those recaps are a fantastic addition to the game

Re: WOKJ 12' NFL Fantasy League Week 7 Revoseason
playing animosity this week is literally like playing myself in my other league
overlap of four offensive players -- decker, richardson, gates, and dwyer
if only animosity also had aaron rodgers...

He traded Rodgers and Wayne for Romo and McCoy. Got totally fleeced, in my opinion.

To be fair, Rodgers sucked the first few weeks and elite RBs are rare.

Re: WOKJ 12' NFL Fantasy League Week 7 Revoseason
Sproles randomly broke a bone in his hand that he had surgery on yesterday I think. Wonderful.
In one league I had Sproles, Murray, Benson and Turner. I traded Turner early on and this Sproles hit just about ruins my season.

Ridiculous trade even at the time Not really, 2 of the 3 games I lost I still would have lost due to my awful RB situation. Would my QB points been alot higher, well duh, but my RB points would have sucked it up and brought me back to earth. I honestly regret trading Wayne more than Rodgers. A. Luck will/would be my keeper QB anywho And the trade is not anywhere as close to ridiculous as some of the lopsided trades that have ben pouring through the last few weeks.....

Re: WOKJ 12' NFL Fantasy League Week 7 Revoseason
It's funny to me that this week of all weeks is when people comments the Rodgers trade as ridiculous, when just last week Matt Forte and Demariyus Thomas (51 points last week) got traded for Tony Gonzalez and Mike Wallace (18 points). Meanwhike, Rodgers and Wayne did 36 points last week compared to 43 points for Romo and McCoy.
To keep the Rodgers+Wayne-Romo+McCoy trade in perspective:
Romo was a top 5 overall qb in 2011, and had a breakout performance against the Superbowl champs in week 1 after which the trade occurred; at that point he looked to have the potential of MVP-calibre season if he could have kept it up.
McCoy was a rb stud every single week in 2011, and has still been decent this year so far. His numbers will be even more improved numbers going forward with the qb-controversy brewing. McCoy would've fulfilled a sore need for me now that Sproles is injured out of nowhere.
Wayne had an off-2011 and there was no guarantees his numbers would be good this year with new rookie quarterback. Besides one huge week 5, Wayne's other weeks were just good not mind-blowing like the string of multiple blockbuster performances from Demariyus Thomas, AJ Green, and Jordy Nelson who all got traded for a lot less recently.
Rodgers, while stud certain weeks, has been very inconsistent this year and is no longer matchup-proof start every week. I'm even starting Josh Freeman over him this week, after Rodgers cost me last week's matchup scoring only 19 out of 46.8 projected points.
I would do a tradeback of exact same players if I didn't still have a hole in WR due to veto of Dwayne Bowe trade.

Re: WOKJ 12' NFL Fantasy League Week 7 Revoseason
So in my other league I'm playing against the Bears D so far they've scored 45 pts I'm pretty sure I"m going to lose this week if the Titans don't start producing yards & scoring
