Mine too. There weren't alot of options. I took a huge risk with Martin, and basically just grabbed a bunch of platoon backs hoping that someone like Arian Foster or Darren McFadden go down early.

Wow, didn't realize we could pick up players during games. Thought it was set to Yahoo standard procedure where every player goes to the waiver wire once the game has kicked off

its a new setting this year...it needs to be changed since there are so many thursday games this year. makes it unfair for those who cant be in front of the TV on Thursday nights

the upside to the "game time waiver" setting is that 4pm and 8pm games on sunday plus the MNF game players dont go on waivers till the game starts instead of everyone at 1pm Sunday. So you can still makechanges at 4pm if needed if a late injury happens

I believe last year there was no waiver period either, except for dropped players only

There is one (possible) problem with it though, I just was able to drop Reuben Randle for Alfred Morris and although Randle has already played (had him on the bench) I would be able to insert Morris into the starting lineup. Is that intended by Yahoo or could that create a possible problem in the future?

Yes. Dropping players that you used is probably prevented by Yahoo. Anyone knows whether you can drop players from the bench in standard Yahoo leagues after they played?

I'll need to look into the waiver rules as I did not change them from previous years implementation. I think shutting down the waiver list on Thursday is bad becuase the majority of the games are on Sunday and traditionally the waiver period has normally been Sunday Noon until Tuesday/Wednesday. Not a lot of time to adjust your roster. I also think with the number of bench players we have now the waiver wire for offense looks horrible now while ogletree had a break out game I can't see anyone starting a #3 reciever every week.

"game time waivers" is a new rule this year by Yahoo...For thursday games it ONLY puts thursday game players on waivers everyone else is still FA.

The cool part is when Sunday comes around the 1pm games ONLY the 1pm players go on waivers so you can still pick up a 4pm person at 330 if ou want due to injury




You can drop any bench player from your team at any time...if you pick up a player who is already playing you CANT put them in your lineup but they are on your bench and can start next week....if we are not using waivers
