I like this suggestion...w/o this there is no difference b/w 80 yards and 99 yards right?

I could do without fractions. It's an element of the game rooting for your player to reach that yardage requirement.

I'm still wondering about if we will have 12 players but at this point I'm indifferent to it. I would still like that flex spot to be enacted.

You would still root for your player to reach the 100 yards rushing/receiving or 300 passing

That is correct. But there would be a massive difference between 99 and 100 yards.

Sorry guys been on vacation, but I'm back now! So looking at the discussion for changes here what we have and will make changes accordingly.

So far only 10 have activated their teams from last year. We have 2 open slots that are now open to fellow KJ'ers until friday August 31st. Send me a PM or post a reply with you email address for an invite. (Animosity Reigns invite sent out and Torrino pm me your email)

Flex position will be added for the third Receiver spot for WR/TE positions only

Keeper league starts this year the good thing is that you don't have to designate it until the start of next years season.

Don't like fractional points but will implement them if at least 7 are in favor of them. I just think players either perform or not. I don't think it would make much difference. I could get with readjusting the scoring to 10 yards instead of 20 but again I don't think it will have the positive effect we think it will have .

Everything else stays the same for now

Ah. Keeper this year will make drafting more important. Looking forward to that flex. Mmmm.

As for fractions. I'm a Veto.

I hate to critique so fast but I thought the idea of the flex was to provide more options and not less options.

By removing the WR and just replacing it with a W/T how does that change how it was before. I mean, who really wants to roll another TE for that slot unless you had 2 of the top 4 TEs you'd want to stick a W in that slot every week.

I'd rather you either keep the WR and add the W/T slot or drop the WR and make this a W/R/T, but I'll roll with change regardless.

I like replacing wr with wr/t rather than adding another spot.

Q about keeper, is it draft-round related or doesn't matter where drafted? Eg if player x keeps a round 1 pick as keeper while player y keeps a round 10 pick as a keeper, do both get to draft next year in round 1 or only player y?

From my understanding you can keep any (1) player you draft/trade/or pick up on the waiver wire this year. It has no bearing on next years draft proceedings.

One more change I made guys, added a couple more bench spots went from 6 to 8, in addition to adding 2 IR spots

I'd be more in favour of that.

Yardage points for every 10 yards would be fine with me.

Aren't two injured reserve spots a bit too much? Especially if we introduce keepers this year and already have many bench spots. People could just stock injured players to make them their keepers the next year and it takes a bit of the strategic thinking out of the game whether you roll the dice with an injured player and put him on waivers or not

If you have a player get hurt and placed on IR by a team, you don't have to drop them like most of us would in the past. You can place them on IR.

Can questionable players also be put on injury reserve then reactivated immediately if we know they will be playing? Eg Ryan Matthews thinks he'll be ready for week 1, does play a bit but is not too good since has lingering injuries so is listed as questionable or probable for week 2, can he temporarily be put on injury reserve then reactivated immediately?

No they have to actually be placed on IR by their respective teams, most of the time IR means they are done for the season

So given a choice should we..

A) 8 Bench players & 2 IR's
B) 6 Bench Players & 2 IR's
C) 8 Bench
D) 6 Bench

I vote A

Just because we have so many D players to watch that you actually need a bigger bench or at least I do. The IR is a nice idea too.

Two questions: is the whole league keeper or just a single player? And when is the draft.

I also vote to have yards be scored in tens. Would give more value to RBs.

I vote C.

Make a big bench because of what nghtvsn said about Defense players, but make managers chose if they want to occupy one bench spot with an injured player because of the keeper league or if they want to release him. That is a bit more challenging
