Of all the teams left, the Giants are the team you should be rooting for the least. I agree as a Chiefs fan I rooted against the Broncos. If you hate the Pats then root for the Ravens or Niners. Oh I'll be the biggest Ravens fan next Sunday. But I'll also be rooting for the best team (Giants) to beat the Pats in the SB.

He has looked very good all season, and any QB who plays like that in the 4th quarter in big game like that doesn't suck.

I would have hated them playing the Saints at home, with the 49ers they at least have a fighting chance

 Re: 2011 NFL Discussion
This is getting ridiculous. What a blowout, Green Bay didn't manage a single touchdown on their own

I think Vegas will put the line at 49ers by 3

If the Giants turn the ball over 5 times it will be a blow out.

If you're counting on the Giants turning the ball over 5 times for the 49ers to win, they're not gonna win.

 Re: 2011 NFL Discussion
turnovers wasn't what killed the Packers, it was all those damn dropped balls. without those this game would be a whole lot different. Giants were the only ones making clutch catches

 Re: 2011 NFL Discussion
Dropped balls have been unfortunately symptomatic of the Packers ever since the Super Bowl last year, but today it really killed them.

They needed 5 to beat the Saints, but to beat the Saints you need that many turnovers over or you have to score 40 points. The Giants don't have the Saints offense. The last time the Niners played them, they dominated their offense and shut them down in the 4th quarter.

49ers beat the Giants during the regular season so obviously they will lose on Sunday

Pats vs Giants or Baltimore vs SF need to happen. No other Superbowl will be acceptable.

 Re: 2011 NFL Discussion
SF v. NE would be great D v. great O. Tom Brady v. his childhood team.
Plenty of storylines for all four potential games.

 Re: 2011 NFL Discussion
2010 Patriots v. Ravens
Deion Branch's first game back with NE. NE first game without Moss. NE started out REAL slow because of it. Gronk had ONE catch. NE held Rice to 3 YPC. Derrick Mason had 100 yds.
NE is so much better, it's not even funny. Baltimore is a slightly better Denver.
