Even though Detroit has a better record against Texas, I think Texas has the advantage here since Delmon Young is hurt, they were forced to use Fister and Scherzer today, while Texas is well rest and completely healthy.

True, but other than that, the Tiger have to win the rest of their games. They can't rely on winning only the Verlander pitched games.

So the Tigers need one good start from someone other than Verlander. I think that can be accomplished against the Rangers.

Yup. Verlander probably gets 1-4-7. Which means Scherzer or Fister has to win ONE of their four games. 100% doable.
