Great call on the pitch out, but Rays should have been more patient and not sending Upton especially with Longoria at the plate.

Even though he gave up 4 runs... Verlander absolutely DOMINATED.
His 5th inning was one of the greatest innings I have ever SEEN. Unbelievable.

EFF YOU VERLANDER.
Seriously though, this guy is the best pitcher in the game and deserves the MVP. Watching you wonder how the Yankees managed to get as many runs as they did.

With AJ going on the mound tomorrow, it's over for the Spankees. It's like 2006 all over again.

Oh come on Rays, you need to let somebody else beat you when a hitter is that locked in. First time, tip your hat; second time, curse yourself; third time, shame on you.

Well, it looks like Game 5 for Detroit and Spankees. Fister and Nova will be a good matchup, again.
D-backs stay alive. Good series so far, it's always better when they go deep.

What's the Rangers record against the Tigers & Yanks this season???? I would LOVE LOVE LOVE for the Rangers to knockout the Yanks out of the playoff for the second year in a row.

Magnus wrote: That catch by Granderson in the 1st was a game-saver. If he doesn't make that catch, Detroit scores three runs and the game would have been completely different. The game would've been over. It would've been at LEAST 3 runs, but probably 4. And then the diving catch while sprinting was another. Fucking Granderson.

Here we go again. The D-backs are too strong at home. I agree with Magnus, the Brewers will settle down back at home, where they have the fan support.

Re: 2011 Major League Baseball Discussion
Close game so far. But even if the Yankees pull this off, they will be banged up for the second round with Nova hurt, and CC having to pitch in relief. The Yankees look too bang up to go deep.

Re: 2011 Major League Baseball Discussion
The AL East teams have been eliminated. A-rod strikes out again just like last year to end their season. Oh Happy Day.
Even though Detroit has a better record against Texas, I think Texas has the advantage here since Delmon Young is hurt, they were forced to use Fister and Scherzer today, while Texas is well rest and completely healthy.
Let's see how these NL matchups take flight.

They didn't use Verlander. Tigers have the advantage for Game 1.

Maybe CC can pitch every game next year. Good series for the most part. Liking the Rangers/ Philly matchup.

Verlander probably gets 1-4-7. Which means Scherzer or Fister has to win ONE of their four games. 100% doable.
