Meh. Tough loss for the Sox. Yankees still suck.

Wow, Ervin Santana has been on fire since the no-hitter. This race with Texas keeps getting too close after each game. I am predicting that the winner of the West will be decided in the last series.

Indians blow it again after taking a lead into the final two innings. Pathetic. I wish they had just sucked from the start, rather than drawing the city into believing a playoff run was likely.

Great come back by the Red Sox. They are now back in first place after taking 2/3. I wish Beckett got the win, he pitched great but no run support again.

Crushing loss by the Yankees. Horrible. Maybe the worst loss of the season.

Re: 2011 Major League Baseball Discussion
Rivera also had his 5 blown save of the season. I think age is creeping up on him. The Yankees are still only a game back so as a Red Sox fan I would not say they still can't pass Boston. I am hoping the Sox can get some separation this week as they play some bad teams while the Yankees play the Angels and Rays.

Re: 2011 Major League Baseball Discussion
While a fun series to watch the Sox domination continued. I think the Yanks really only outplayed them 4 of the 28 innings. Hughes did not look that promising either, the Yanks were desperate for the win, but now they can't use him on Tuesday.
Phillies keep on chugging.

Just another closer instead of an elite closer he once was. Hoffman was going to the same phase last year, with too many blown saves despite getting to 600. I too think age is playing a factor here. Critical series for both Yankees and Angels here, in what could be a preview for the playoffs if all goes well for us. At least we've been on a roll.

This is obviously the end of the Yankees. I wouldn't be surprised if they finished last in the division.

First place, another come back win, 10-2 against the Yankees. And it was nice to see the continued dominance the Red Sox have over Sabathia.
Good weekend all in all and it'd be nice to see Wakefield pick up his 200th win tonight.

What a heart pounding game. Mo loses it again. Thanks you Abreu.
Looks like Garret Richards will make his debut tomorrow.

The fans are not only blaming him for the loss, but also Grandy, for getting picked off with Tex at the plate (who represented the winning run). What a stupid way to run yourself out of the game.

I don't blame Granderson for that loss. I blame ALL the Yankees for sucking so badly. Together.

What a tough way to lose. One error gives way for 4 runs. ESPN is not shutting up about it.
