They're still on because Fox has nothing else.

I'm going to cry when/if Arrested Development gets canceled. I'm hoping a cable outlet like F/X or HBO will pick it up.

It probably wouldn't have made that much. More people watch TV then go to the movie theatre and it's a free show.

AD is still on because it's the best show Fox has and they know it. Note the emmy last year, and probably this year. If it gets cancelled HBO is just gonna pick it up.

Don't get too hopeful on Arrested Development going to another network if FOX cans it (which I doubt, because FOX is in love with the show). Just because it's nearly universally loved, it doesn't mean it's the ONLY show that is good that got cancelled.

Yeah, but most shows don't win Best Comedy Series in their first season. It also fits with the style of programming HBO has better than it does with Fox.

Hey, I can't help but agree! Arrested Development on HBO would be awesome! And it's definitely one of the funniest shows of the last few years. I just don't see HBO picking up the show if it got canned. But, I also do not see the reason to worry. FOX is in love with the show, and I think they will stick by it, even if it means low ratings. Who knows? I've seen crazier stuff happen.
