Daaang I was kinda rooting for Andrea after she managed to get back in the game. It's not her fault Natalie and Ashley are dunderheads. I mean, yes, if they had voted for Rob it wouldn't have mattered with the Idol...but they didn't even try, and Andrea was totally right, the jury is going to have no respect for these two because they never tried to do anything big (other than Ashley getting Grant out last week).

Rob wins this in a cakewalk now.

Ashley is the only one of these people who presents even 1/100th of a threat to Rob in a jury vote (based entirely on her performance in challenges), so I imagine she will go next.

I'm eager to see how Phil pleads his "I acted crazy on purpose" case.

Natalie really doesn't have a mind of her own, does she? Good god, girl. I know you're only 19...but you could have forced a tie, you sheep.

Anyway, this is by far the most lopsided final two/three I can remember in Survivor. Even more than that season where Earl unanimously beat Cassandra and Dreamz. Who is going to vote for Natalie or Phillip? I mean, come on.

I see the economy must have caused the casting people to cut back on psychological evaluations for the contestants this season. Philip be crazy.

Jesus had to come up sooner or later during this. Just surprised it was Mike, not Matt.

Some of those people were more self-righteous than necessary (shut up, Julie) but...lol. MOST LOPSIDED FINAL THREE EVER.

Yay. Boston Rob finally wins one of these things. There was NO ONE ELSE deserving of it this season. The season was boring because of Rob's tactics, yes. But that doesn't take away from the ironclad stronghold he had on this entire game. And he deserves this win.

I did like him embracing Amber. I could just picture her thinking, "Does this mean we're done with CBS reality shows now?"

Also...Ralph, stupid until the end. A vote for "Phile."

I wonder if we'll ever see any of these people again on "Heroes vs. Villains" type seasons. Maybe Andrea or Matt.

That was random as all hell. I guess we're not gonna talk to Francesca, Kristina, Stephanie or Krista...so dweeby David could propose to some chick who got voted out first a few seasons ago. Oooookay.

I did love the WTF? look Amber briefly had sitting in front of them.

If anyone from this season deserves a chance to come back, it's Andrea. I think she would have been a serious contender for the win in a Rob-less season.

I do fear the return of Redemption Island and 2 MORE PEOPLE COMING BACK NEXT SEASON, though. Ughhhhhhh. It better be people I like or I will injure Mark Burnett.

And it better not turn out like this season where a Svengali figure has such a tight grip on everyone that nothing exciting ever happens.

Great finale, albeit a bit predictable. They did a better job with the after show and thank goodness they didn't do the castoff montage like they used to. So Philip officially got 2nd place and $100,000 since he got Ralph's random vote, lol?

I don't blame Natalie at all for being Rob's servant. She should have played it more instead of being wishy washy, like mentioning she was so loyal and committed to winning that she voted off her best friend in the game.

Grant seemed sure pissed during the live finale, as well as Phillip to a degree. I'm sure they all wanted to kill Rob after he won the fan favorite, too, but then again, he deserved it! I'm just surprised Mike didn't beat Matt for 2nd.

I'm guessing maybe... Rupert, and a girl for next season?

Grant and Julie's bittercakes were annoying. They both seemed like relatively sane people (albeit dull) during the season, but sheesh, get over yourselves.

I want Cirie for next season. NOT RUPERT DEAR GOD NO.

Rob annoys me, so I was fine with Grant giving him the cold shoulder.

First of all - Rob is the ONLY option for a winner this season. He owned it.

Now:
-I loved that Andrea got back into the game. But she was voted off in an instant again... :(

-It was hilarious watching Natalie in the final challenge - a headless chicken in a maze. It was even kinda fascinating... Like some kind of an experiment.

-I never liked Julie and she just showed her true face in the final tribal... She should've asked herself if her mother would be proud of her for attacking a 19-year-old girl. She is such a bitter bitch. Also why is Zapatera tribe hung on deceit, etc... They knew they were sitting ducks and that they had no shot of getting to the finals. Who the hell deceived them?

-Surprisingly Steve ended up as the most level headed person on Zapatera tribe...

-Dave is completely in love with Rob

Aaaaaaa, who's coming back????????? Libs - Naonka returning would be awesome. But they won't bring her back as she quit on her original season. No Cirie. I don't want people who have already been multiple times back in the game... I'm hoping Andrea comes back somewhere down the line...

Post Re: Survivor: Redemption Island
Boston Rob so deserved to win. As dull as the season became, he played it masterfully. In a season likely designed to give Russell his long-awaited victory, Rob emerged with fantastic gameplay and his best season yet. Where he slipped up in All-Stars and showed his age in Heroes vs. Villains, he came through with a deserving win here. Perhaps if Zapatera didn't throw the Russell challenge, things might have been different. But it wasn't, they deserved their swift exit and he deserved it after almost a decade of on-off gameplay.

It's kind of sad for me. The end of an era. I've watched him on four seasons of Survivor, two seasons of The Amazing Race, a season of his short-lived FOX Reality series Against the Odds, and I even watched him marry Amber in that two-hour CBS special a few years ago. Easily one of the best, if not the best, reality show player ever. As much as Russell wanted to steal the title for himself as Best Survivor Player Ever, Rob stole it back this season.

I swear I'm not David with all this Rob love. I was just thrilled that he won. And man, Natalie started looking really good in the last few episodes. I never noticed her before. Too bad she doesn't look as good dolled up. But that lighting is unforgiving in the reunion show.
