Yup. So if no one cares or remember who won years ago, do you think anyone cares or remember who didn't even made the final last year. I'll bet you will be the only person in 2044 talking about that 2009 Jets season where they didn't win zilch.

But it wasn't a perfect one.

Whatever you jerk as you are a fool since I have been talking 2010 football all year and probably more than anyone else.

And whatever on the perfect season that was almost 40 years ago and was only in a 14 game season.

Sad that is what you have to bring up. LOL. 1972.

I caught about 45 minutes of #20 to #11 and I thought it was really well done. It was cool to learn about Otto Graham. His pass technique was pretty airy yet they said he was pretty accurate.

I think Barry Sanders being ahead of Brett Favre is ridiculous. Sanders was a great back, but he didn't play long enough to deserve that high a rating. Favre is a decent rating of 20, but it should be higher.

Ridiculous? Come on. Think you need to review Sanders Career Stats!

Now I am not going back to review Sanders stats now but I know he was selected All Pro in all 10 seasons that he played. And even though he played only 10 years. He is still like #3 on the All Time Rushing Yards list. I Think. I will check the stats some other time.

So in ending I think you should review the yearly stats of Farve and Sanders. Especially since Farve just wants to hang on to extend his own records, I would like to see how many down seasons both had in their careers.

Also, Barry had the unfortunate circumstance of being taken by a shitty team and yet he still put up such awesome stats. He was less than 1500 yards from the rushing record when he quit/retired, so easily could have done that if he still had that desire to play. He has a 100 ypg average behind one other running back. His position being probably the 2nd most important and still doing what he did with that organization is extremely impressive.

Of course, it is just a list created to inspire debate and I really don't think there is much difference between those ranked 11-20 anyway.

Barry Sanders is probably the greatest player I've ever seen play.

I've never seen some of the older RB's, so I wouldn't be able to rank them. But Barry was unbelievable.

Ridiculous probably wasn't the right word. I don't doubt the amazing play of Sanders. I just didn't like the way he left. As far as I know, he wasn't hurt and his skill didn't diminish, he just quit. For that, I don't think he deserves a ranking as high as someone like Favre.

Read that a couple of years later he admitted that he left because the losing took a toll on him.

Truthfully after playing 10 years as a pro and over 20 years of lifetime football....good for him that he left rich and un-hurt and young enough to enjoy life and thus moved into a another success career.

Anyway, no matter how he left 10 years is a long enough pro career that one can't say he left too early.

It's hard to compare players from different eras. Sanders was the best back I ever watched. But Jim Brown and Walter Payton have to at least be considered equal to Sanders.

All three are completely different backs, it's difficult to pick between them.

Sorry to disagree but Jim Brown is pretty universally known as the greatest running back of all time.

With Power and Speed.

After that the debate can begin for 2 to 9.

Agreed.

Brown was bruising power. Sanders was quick and elusive. Walter was more of a mix
