 Re: 2010 College Football Season
Harris Poll top 10
1 Oregon (91) 7-0 2818 1 2 Boise State (14) 6-0 2668 2 3 Auburn (6) 8-0 2611 5 4 TCU (3) 8-0 2545 3 5 Michigan State 8-0 2250 8 6 Alabama 7-1 2220 7 7 Utah 7-0 2095 9 8 Missouri 7-0 2061 16 9 Wisconsin 7-1 1897 11 10 Ohio State 7-1 1858 10
It's good to see that Boise is holding at #2. That's all that matters with these human polls. It should all work out in the end as long they are in that position.

They're in that position now and are ranked 3rd in the BCS.
That 'works'?

That 'works'? Yes it works. It works because I believe that Oregon will not go undefeated and neither will Auburn, so as long as they sit at #2 the poll voters are running out of teams to put ahead of them at #1. I doubt it would be Michigan state or even Missouri at this point, so that's why Boise holding #2 is extremely important because the voters will eventually have no choice but to put them at #1. A 1 loss Alabama ahead of them would look silly unless it's after they beat Auburn.

That's all the facts I need to show that auburn deserves to be ranked higher than Boise

 Re: 2010 College Football Season
And why did they beat four Top 25 teams? Because those polls are bull...
Fact is: Boise is only not ranked higher because Virginia Tech lost that second game. And why did they lose that game? Because they were so deflated after that loss against Boise since their chances for a national title were gone after one game. This argument about schedule is absolutely ridiculous. Alabama is better than Auburn or Oregon in my opinion, they had just an awful stretch of games that no team could have gotten through without a loss. And if VT plays James Madison first and then Boise, Boise would probably be #2 in the BCS standings. That's why a playoff is absolutely needed. When it comes down to how the beaten teams of a beaten team play it is just plain dumb

Mr. Magnus wrote: TCU in my opinion honestly has looked as good as Boise and has had the tougher schedule. If TCU beats Utah this week, I think it'd be complete bullshit for anyone to rank Boise over them. Actually, the winner of the TCU/Utah game should probably be ranked over Boise no matter who it is.
It's sort of funny how in the hype around Boise, people forget about other non-major teams like TCU or Utah who are also undefeated. Funny. I remember Boise beating TCU in a bowl game last year. And this Boise team is better than that team.

 Re: 2010 College Football Season
How does that make any sense? If last year doesn't matter, then why was Boise ranked #3 to start the year?

Let me re word that. Comparing two teams and sayin one is better because they beat them last year does not matter.

 Re: 2010 College Football Season
Who the fuck has TCU beaten? Their schedule is WORSE than Boise's.
TCU: 1st in points against, 7th in points for. Boise: 2nd in points against, 4th in points for.
And Boise is far more well rounded, 13th in passing per game, and 12th in rushing per game. TCU is 69th in passing per game, and 10th in rushing per game.

And even if VA Tech didn't lose to James Madison, Boise would probably be left out in the end. An undefeated Utah/TCU team would jump them most likely, and an undefeated Auburn, MSTATE, Missouri, or Oregon would def. jump them. lol, boise would pawn tcu again fo sho.

Kellen Moore, a heisman contender AGAIN, has 16 TD's and 1 INT.

I wasn't talking about the heisman. I was talking about how great Boise is.
And Cam Newton has faced one good defense. ONE.

Why bring what up? I said he's a heisman contender. As a reason to why Boise is the best team in the country.

 Re: 2010 College Football Season
Auburn's defense is terrible. Boise's is great. Oregon is the ONLY team that has an argument for #1. Outside of their first half defense, which is average.
