Re: 2010 Major League Baseball Discussion
Well all I really need to say is DAAAA Gun, the Yankees are amazing!!!!!!!
Also, LOL at Kinsler getting picked off, the non pitcher goat of the game.
And Hamilton, had a chance to be a hero but not. Told you he was going to have to be huge in this series.
Also Texas left too many runs on the table in the first half of the game. They should have had a couple more to end it. 7 or 8 - 0 would have been nicier.
And I think Texas ended with 7 hits. Pretty bad considering how hot they started.
*
And on the Yankees, as no one is giving them credit.
I forgive CC as that was too long a rest. And the home plate umpire really sucked on ball and strike calls. And CC may have saved the gane with that tag out at home.
Thinking more about the bad umpire calls. That is a tougj job as 2.5 hours into a game you are tired from bending down and straining your eyes.
Anyway, great job by the Yankee bullpen holding the game. Except for 1 homer.
And...
Jeter. Almost the goat as he kept of leaving men on base...but then 2 clutch hits at the end of the game.
Gardner. 2 plays. Beating the play out at first. Then scoring from 1st on the double. What speed.
Cano. That is the MVP runner up I have seen all year. Homer and that single up the middle.
Arod. Nice clutch hit. And unlike the Texas 3rd baseball, Arod came up huge with bases loaded catch.
Thames. 2 hits. Told you, the Yankees are deep.
Also good Dee as no major F ups.
And DAAAA Gun, Riviera sure is pitching great. Shame on you for doubting him.
Well that is just some thoughts. Hope I didn't miss anything big.
Now Game 2 tomorrow. Seems like 12 hours away. Lastly, did you see the faces of the Texas Players, they were in shock!!!!

Hey retard. Why don't you try making a point instead of always being a retard. And again Yankees. Jets. And Giants. Love it.

Very disappointed in the Rangers. Wth happened in that 8th inning. Jesus. How does a team just go from dominating to become ratty in 1 inning?

Re: 2010 Major League Baseball Discussion
Yankees would have no chance against the Phillies. They couldn't even hit the Rangers non-#1 starter. ALL of Phillies starters are better than him. And Philly has a much better bullpen.

And right now the Yankees can match the Phillies in every place. That is why I say it will be a great series. Also the Phillie hitters better start hitting as they hit like 222 in the last series. And all should know that Texas pitcher pitched a great game and also the Yankees don't hit lefties as good as righties. But no more talk on the next series, till this one finishes.

Re: 2010 Major League Baseball Discussion
Yes. And tell me why they don't. DAAAAA Gun.
CC and Hughes over 40 wins so far this year. DAAAAA Gun.
Petiette, 11 wins and an All Star in half a season. And the All Time Pitcher for Everything in the Playoffs. DAAAAA Gun.
The clutch mid relief would held Texas as they were rolling yesterday. DAAAAA Gun.
Woods has been great this year, for the 8th inning. DAAAAA Gun.
Riviera, back to prefect in the playoffs. 4 for 4. DAAAAA Gun.

Re: 2010 Major League Baseball Discussion
prefect?
And what does the regular season have to do with the postseason? CC got blown up yesterday and didn't last 5 innings.
And telling us to stop talking about the next series... when YOU brought it up? What?!

Chipo DiCaprio wrote: Yankees match the Phillies in pitching? Hey Crybaby, stop Crying as you asked the question right here. OK. In the Playoffs, Hughes gives up 0 runs in a win. Petiette gives up 2 runs and gets a win. CC has a win and no losses. And a Philly starter gave up 4 runs to the weak hitting Reds. And as outlined above, the umpire screwed CC in the 1st inning. And let's see how the Phillies play with the long delay. OK Crybaby. So Yankees easily match the Phillies in the Playoffs. Happy Crybaby.

LOL. Game 2. SOS. Home Plate Umps are giving Texas Calls on the edge on the Plate. And not the Yankees. As shown on the TBS ball strike box.
Guess the Yankees will have to win against the cheating Umpires again.

Bad move by the Yankees defense in the first. Hamilton was a dead duck, but they threw home and it cost them.

The Scottie wrote: Bad move by the Yankees defense in the first. Hamilton was a dead duck, but they threw home and it cost them. I don't think so. I think it was a designed play as Hamilton stops and tries to get into a rundown. But the thing that I don't understand is, in that situation, you knew that the runner at third would break. If the pitcher cuts off that ball, the runner at 3rd is dead. Teams should practice that play!!!!! PS. Seems that the cheating umpires and MLB have decided that the Rangers need a 5-0 lead before the game is allowed to be played fairly.

You do realize that box is something the tv station came up with, not the MLB, right? It has no bearing on anything.

YES! but since it is shown from a fixed position on both teams...it shows when the umpire is making bad calls! And most of the bad calls have been on the Yankees!!!!!!!!! Case Closed!!!!!!!

A fixed position? Do you not realize how a strike zone works?
