Re: Nikita (CW) | Season 1
Are they going to continue with flashbacks? They don't do good editing job with those and they slow down the whole show. I did like these flashbacks much more than the ones in the pilot (possibly because it's for the nth time I see the whole Nikita story), but they still don't seem like they fit in here. I do get that they need to explain Alex's backstory too, but it would be much wiser to have a dedicated episode for that - for instance when a show comes back after the pause so regular viewers might miss the first episode, but they don't miss much of the storyline of what's currently happening. But anyways...
I liked the second episode a bit more than the pilot. I even liked Michael in this episode. The actor didn't seem so wooden and talentless and weird.

Re: Nikita (CW) | Season 1
The show hit a new high mark with episode 3. But I do wonder what made CW pick up this series. It's soooo not for The CW at all. I'm surprised they didn't try to make it sexier and more female appealing. It's not yet on the same level as Alias (which had one of the best kick off out of all action series ever) or La Femme Nikita, but if it continues like this it's getting there.

Saw the first two episodes. Good enough for me to stick around, but hopefully it'll become more than just Alias 2.0.

Re: Nikita (CW) | Season 1
If anything at least CW found a very strong show if not a hit one. Episode 4 was pretty good. So far Nikita has been a very good show.

Re: Nikita (CW) | Season 1
I think the show is solid, but can't really separate itself from just being an Alias-wannabe.
Oh and I still think Shane West is pretty bad.

Re: Nikita (CW) | Season 1
The acting, twists, story - the whole package at least makes it a good Alias wannabe so far even if the show didn't separate itself enough yet.

Five episodes into its rookie season, the Maggie Q-fronted action drama is undergoing some routine maintenance. Specifically, The CW is looking to lighten the show’s somber mood and jack up its title character’s love life. Leave it to The CW to fuck it up. Nikita is fine as it is. I thought CW was going to use Nikita to turn another leaf in its branding but it seems they're not keen on giving up on their women 18-34 demo they hardly bring in on any night.

Re: Nikita (CW) | Season 1
I watched the last episode last night. Really great. I didn't think they would be able to put out twist after twist after twist this long... But it looks like they've done a good job planning out the season.

Re: Nikita (CW) | Season 1
WALL BUMP!
The first episode that I found completely mediocre. Michael's backstory is pretty lame and it was executed poorly. And I don't think he should be furious at Nikita. It's the Division who messed up his revenge not Nikita. If they didn't sent the team after Nikita everything would go as planned. She just saved him from making a dumb decision.
I'm hoping the show is throwing a red herring here and Michael and Nikita are somehow working together now. Though Nikita's last scene doesn't point that way.

Re: Nikita (CW) | Season 1
The last episode was much better than the Michael one, but I still feel it was subpar compared to the great string of episodes 2-8...

Re: Nikita (CW) | Season 1
The show settled down in mediocrity after its January return. But the ending of the episode 20 gives me hope last 2 episodes could be excellent...

Re: Nikita (CW) | Season 1
Episode 21 was by far the best episode of Nikita ever! A lot of twists. Despite the obvious reveal of the killer of Alex's father, everything else was awesome.

Re: Nikita (CW) | Season 1
Well last two episodes turned the tide. Just when Nikita started to settle in a mould it set - BANG. A lot of shit went on in the last two episodes. It's what some shows go by through a season. Not Nikita...
I loved the cameo by La Femme Nikita's Madeleine.
Now I hope for second season. Though I know that the ratings are pretty crappy. At least half a season so they finish the show...
