He just went to 3.07 actually. Ortiz #16, thank god we got Drew back, he's not the best in my opinion, but he is clutch from time to time.

Another Red Sox Win, another injury now Martinez. Could have done without that one, though Varitek is still a good hitter.

Re: 2010 Major League Baseball Discussion
Those pitchers get to focus on just pitching, so they should be held to a higher standard.

Re: 2010 Major League Baseball Discussion
One batter does not ruin an ERA. And Haren bats over .400, much better than a DH

And he might he as good as Babe Ruth. And didn't say ruin the ERA but think it is a lot more than the nothing you gave.

Re: 2010 Major League Baseball Discussion
How would having a DH instead of a pitcher hurt your ERA? The AL in general has better hitters, thus they have a lot of average pitchers.

Brandon Wood hits a grand slam today. Out of all the people, Brandon Wood? Our worst player? Strange games, but I'll take it.
And Andy Pettite, two errors in one inning. I guess the Dodgers figure this out and started bunting all the time with his lousy fielding?

One batter can not influence an ERA to that extent.

Oh look! Haren hit a home run. He's definitely not as good as a DH.
