I wouldn't call last night a "great" win. Dbacks had bases loaded with no outs in the 10th. They just suck.

Ha, only a few more days Grill. Sox won 6 in a row, I like how you say the Yanks can't win them all after a 3 game winning streak (One of their highest of the year) double LOL,

Great game for Sox/ Rockies- Great pitching. Lowell and Papi's single pinch hits were so close to taking the lead, we got robbed. We've only had the best record in baseball since April 20th, a few more days won't make much of a difference.

So no comments Gun as your Sox have now lost 2 in a row and blown a game in the 9th. Wow, with the way you were talking, I thought the Sox were primed to win every game.

Anyway, whatever dude as you again show you are clueless with your multiple posts on this board. But as a lifetime Red Sox fan, I wouldn't expect you to understand baseball and winning that well.

Can Dice extend the Red Sox losing streak to 3.

Just like 2000, an all New York WS in 2010.

and then a Yankee Championship.

Almost half way there people as I continue my super picks from 2009.

Great game for Pedroia- First Red Sox to hit 3 home Runs in a single game since Kevin Millar in 04. Great series overall even if it went to the Dodgers.

If only we could get Oswalt or Cliff Lee. We'd be real contenders to win the World Series, not just our division.

Wow, these Rangers are even better than they were last year. This next series between us will be an uphill for us. I am going to two of the three games in this series. I will still cheer when Vladdy comes up to bat (in fact, I will be wearing by Guerrero shirt to these games). This rivalry could go up if the Rangers keep this pace.

Hey Gun. Nice to see that you came out of your hole after 2 shitty Red Sox losses but I guess you had to let Paps crawl in there.

And you say great series even though you were bragging that the Red Sox were so hot coming in with a 6 game winning streak.

But any true baseball fan would be more upset that their closer blew two wins for the team in the 9th inning. Or did you even know that as maybe you don't understand how to read a whole box score?

And LOL, Mr Baseball expert. Mr I am Never Wrong. >>> They played Colorado and not the Dodgers. LOL!!! Da!!!

True, and Im not that messed up over that, they were 3 really good games that came down to pitching, no real blowouts, and good job saving the series against one of the worst teams in the Nationals, we'll see how you do against the Dodgers. Hey Grill, if you could ever find the time to take attack mode down, is this the first time the Yankees have played against the Dodgers with Torre?

Sure I can but remember this is the first civil message you have sent me in a month.

So all is fine.

You're always the first to attack my man, Im just there to respond. Is this the first Yankee's Torre match up though?

Yup. As I am in New York the papers said this was the 1st time Torre is facing the Yankees. Also Torre hasn't been back to Yankee Stadium yet. But Torre watched the WS to root for his old players.

So CC and Arod are really starting to heat up, and since most of the other Yankees playing OK/Good. Yanks looking very good.

And the Mets still on first place's doorstep. Maybe today, Santana will get some run support as his ERA is a pretty good 3.33 ish.

Well just checked the score and looks like Santana had a bad first inning so the Mets are going to have to save him today.

3.33 is not "pretty good"
It's very average.

So what would you consider a pretty good ERA?

In the NL, anything under 3.
In the AL, anything under 3.25.

Well I have to check the stats on the computer. I see from my cell phone that there are only 20 pitchers in all of MLB with an ERA under 2.90.

So I have to see how the numbers work.

Still haven't checked but still disagree. And that is why I still say up to 3.50 is a pretty good ERA. Average is over 3.50.

And great is somewhere in the 2s.

Man, Sox are battling but these injuries are rough ones. Pedroia gone for 6 weeks now, and Bucholz is taken out in the 2nd inning after hitting his first single and injuring himself, hope he pulls through. No Bucholz, Pedroia, Ellisbury, Becket, and Drew is 5 names you don't want to see on DL.

So again a pitcher gets hurt. Clay B from Boston. Running the bases. And just like I said when the Yanks Wang got hurt years ago.

I don't like pitchers hitting as they have enough to do in a week to get ready to pitch. They can't send enough time worrying about hitting and running the bases.

If Lincecum has a bad game, he goes into the average column > as this is what he started with today > 2.85 ERA

Oops, a run in the first and he is up to 2.92 > kindof crazy Munk how he is average with an 8-2 record.

but sorry I forgot, you are wrong.
