Legal argumentation is not really like a normal debate or argument. I don't know if Groucho is a trial attorney (civil or criminal), but if he is, I am willing to bet that 90% of his work is done before he arrives in court and that is only in the cases that actually go to trial.

And I am not sure in which universe I "lost" this particular debate. The accusation was that Obama took too many vacations, I pointed out that Bush took more during his first year (a year which, I might add, included the attack on the World Trade Center, which dwarfs any problems Obama has).

You [meaning me] are comparing apples and oranges. Obama did not actually leave D.C. to go on the majority of his golf outings and some of the golf outings occurred within vacation time; thus under your methodology, that golf outing would be counted twice, which is incorrect. For example, on his Hawaiian vacation he also golfed.

Further, during a golf outing he is not not actually on "vacation," rather he is on his free time after his work day has ended. Lots of people do this. For example, a person might put in their 10 hours at work and then go golfing and have a drink. This is done in their free time and thus should not be counted whereas a person who is on vacation is temporarily away when he would normally be at work.

I think only pro golfers can get more than one round in... let alone a FEW

All the other members of the show are hardcore liberals and vapid, the latter trait Elizabeth also shares. Elizabeth is a Republican/conservative in the same way that David Gergen is the Republican/conservative for CNN or David Brooks for the NYT.
