Thank you!
EDIT: I love Jeff Buckley but right now it seems I'm more in the mood for Joy Division and Radiohead.

Spain apparently has 10-2 in shots.
C'mon Spain!

Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread
Finally some signs of life from Germany. I haven't seen them getting dominated like this for some time. The ball was on their side for almost the entire second half so far.

Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread
Game had been absolutely fascinating even without the goal. I think germany will attack more which should open things up for spain.

Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread
Spain's game could feel boring, but their passing and possession control are simply beautiful, even though they never seem to lead to a lot of goals.

Fucking Pedro. Once again the Spanish are doing TOO much. Just pass it to Torres.

Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread
Spain have the most skilled team and were the favored team coming into the cup. But they have never played at their best. I think they are peaking at the right time.
Even though I want dutch to win this, spain will be the favorites.

Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread
Btw guys:
THIS WILL BE THE FIRST TIME SINCE FRANCE 1998 THAT A NEW COUNTRY WILL WIN THE CUP!
So this is thrilling either way. I wish the Spanish, despite the boredom they have induced in me, all the best in the final, and I'm totally rooting for Holland to finally win the Cup they've deserved since the 1970s.

Though I think Spain will win it all, imo.

Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread
France 1998 Argentina 1978 England 1966
Those were the last 3 "new" countries to win the Cup. Crazy.

If Spain wins it will also be the first time it made to the finals. Going back to 1970 only 6 different teams made it to the finals.

Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread
Why were the Germans supposed to win again, because they won two matches?

Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread
So, all in all, the best of possible finals, yes? Holland vs. Spain. That's a dream final.

Re: The Official FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 thread
Germany were never supposed to win this. Spain were the better team coming into the game. Just that germany had 2 great games that made people favor germany.
