Wow!!! Walk off Grand Slam by Kendry "Bam Bam" Morales.

But unfornately, he hurts himself in the process.

He broke his leg. :funny:

I hate to laugh, but that's just funny.

To you yes, but to an Angel fan, this is very panicky news, cause he was the team, and he is not replaceable.

Also, The Doc got a perfect pitch game. Two in a month, how often does that happen.

Always was waiting for football players to get hurt with the way they jump on each other.

Did anyone see the AROD hit ball that hit the pitcher in the head and went like 250 feet into right field.

Very scary and a shame but that is what batters face every time a pitchers wants to throw a 90 mile an hour fastball at them. The batters are sitting ducks.

I am not sure what was scarier of the two, Huff getting hit by the line drive, or K-mo breaking his leg from a walk off.

Wow, another walk off homerun to cap a great comeback. This time, they learn their lesson by waiting on the grass until he crosses the plate.

Yup, the line drive easily....mainly cause he got hit in the head which really made it worse.

wondering if Angels are missing Vlad?

and nice to see AROD still hitting the ball hard and not having any afterthoughts after yesterday's game. Glam Slam and other RBI hits today.

Pitchers better start ducking when AROD is up!

Looks like Jimenez is still #1. And Lincecum is cursed from winning an undeserving Cy Young last year. As a Cardinal pitcher was more deserving.

Agree, I thought Chris Carpenter should have won the Cy Young that year. Also, Jimenez, if he keeps this up, should be the NL Cy Young winner.

Wow. Craziest story ever. Umps blows 27th out to cost Tigers a perfect game. Don't understand how the ump doesn't give pitcher that call.

Abyway. Tigers should appeal and MLB should do the right thing.

Say ump screwed up and make that a perfect game. Which also would be the first one ever by a Tiger.

I was shocked by that while watching the Angel game today (Yes, our annoucers brought it up just after it happened). He was clearly out. And Jim Joyce is one of my favorite umpires too (shame on you Jimmy).

Also in the news, Ken Griffey Jr. officially retires today. You had a great run, now enjoy your time screaming at the TV watching Mariners game.

On the brighter side, congrats to Bobby Abreu for being only the 4th person to hit 500 doubles, 250 homeruns, and 350 stolen bases (only Biggio, Henderson and Bonds were the others that acheived this feat).

That call was absurd. And call for instant replay will be bigger than ever. I don't see why they can't do something similar to tennis or NFL, where they allow a fixed number of challenges by each side per match.

So I heard ump say he blew the call which seem to have happened before the teams left the field, as supposedly the player hugged the ump???

Anyway, so many questions?

Why didn't ump just change the call as game was delayed as manager argued.

One of the other umpires had to have a good angle or seen it and should have told him

Also I know that they aren't suppose to show replays but during the manager argument, they should have just shown a still picture of the pictures foot on the bag.

Then case closed. Ump changes call. Everyone is happy. Perfect game and the game is over.

Most f up stat. Santana has only 1 win in his last 5 starts even though he has an ERA of 0.74 in those 5 games.

And he has pitched 2 straight shutouts with 2 no decisions.

And that is why, he is still one of the best pitchers in baseball.

At least Joyce wants to do something about expanding the replay rules cause he is truly sorry for ruining him a perfect game. Another reason why I like Joyce as an umpire (aside from his sttttrriiiiiiiiike call) cause he wants to make emends for his mistakes.

Wow, at least they handled it well during today's game. They didn't reverse the call, but they gave the pitcher a Corvette as a consolation prize, and he and Jim Joyce talked over it, and shook hands, and accepted the lineup card from him. He even had tears in his eyes (who know umpires can cry). Further reason why I like Joyce as an umpire. Very classy of him to do that.
