anyway, now a days, with a 1 run lead and teams having great bullpens, basically 95 % of the times a team makes this pitching change. It is pretty standard.

well Angels took Sanders out after 7 and he was pitching great. It is done all the time in late innings as the starting pitcher is getting tired and the bullpen is fresh.

Angel errors in the first 2 games. The first would still have been 2-1 without them and this one probably would still be tied.

On this game. The SS had a tough play but the 3rd baseball shouldn'thave rushed picking up the ball. Think he would have thrown the guy out at home.

Also. What are your feelings on vlad. Both in not getting it done this series and what has he done for the angels in his whole career, as I missed his earlier years.

I think he is finished. We seem to win more games w/o him. He kills more rallies than starts them. I think people like Napoli, or even bench players like Kendrick or Brandon Wood should be DH. I don't think we should resign at all. Although in the past, he was our big Power Hitter, but more than that, he had a strong throwing arm in the outfield (rivaled only by Ichiro), and got loads of outfield assists (throwing out people trying to tag up from third to home). He even stole lots of bases. But now is has an injury to the leg, he can't run anymore, nor can he play in the outfield (with is the reason why he can only be a DH), and he doesn't have that power he once had, this is a sign that he is finished.

You are right, with all those errors (w/o them, we would have won, Figgin, Izzy, Aybar, comon), this is frusterating to all the fans, not the fact that we are getting beat by the Yankees, but the fact that this is not Angels Baseball. Some say that the weather affected them. Hopefully the plane ride right back home will get them back in shape, and think about Nick. Seriously, if they want to get to the WS, they need to play for Nick, and play the Yankees the way we did in the past (find it ironic that we swept the Sox despite our problems with them, and the same irony is happening here).

Look at all the celebrities at Angels Stadium. Jack Nicholson, Adam Sandler, Pat Sajak, and of course, Kate Hudson are all there (all rooting for you know who).

The Angels are picking the absolute worst time to play their worst baseball of the season. They absolutely threw away the first two games (literally in Game 2) and now they're running into outs?

And the frightening thing is, the Yankees aren't even playing at their best yet. Or, maybe they are and the Angels just aren't showing up.
