That's definitely on the horizon, but I'll be shocked if he's not the setup man next year.

well I don't know about that, the season series was pretty even. and the yanks of the first half were just developing with arod missing the first month and the others adjusting...and then the Yanks took 2/3 at angels stadium in second half.

The possible 4 games at yankee Stadium will also help the Yankees.

so I think the series is even or alittle to the yanks...

Thanks. I am reading Red Sox forum, and they too are pulling for us cause we are the biggest hope of eliminating the Greedy Empire (and some are in it for Adenhart as well). Also, the Angels fans were fired up after Dave Henderson threw out the first pitch and did the leap after hitting the HR that cost the Angels a World Series berth. They were all, yeah, way to rub it in us and what you did to Donnie Moore. But that just fired up the players even more. Another surprizing thing is that we did much of our scoring off of Papelbon!!! Anyway, thanks for the support.

PS. Do you suppose now that Donnie Moore is free from Limbo, he is now roomates with Adenhart (metaphorically speaking that it).

Yes, he seems to be very good with his velocity. Although I see him more as a setup man.

I agree, and it is only in this momentary rage that I'm truly serious about it. But I think this only cemented the fact that Papelbon won't end up with a long contract with the Sox, and given his greediness and newfound propensity for choking he'll probably ended up in New York.

Yeah and add me to the rooting for the Angels crowd. They deserve it after the season they have had, and of course I hate the Yankees.

No, but the Yanks had the Sox number down the stretch (even though the Sox didn't try too hard after the first loss in the last series). And as much as I think/thought they had enough personnel to compete and win with the Yankees, they were just too inconsistent. And they just flat out under performed. They still had a very good lineup. They just didn't produce at all.

The Angels are anything but. It'll be a close series regardless. Right now, my brain is telling me the Yanks win in either six or seven games, but there's something about this Angels team...

I like how were talking about the next series like the Twins don't even exist, but lets be honest. Carl Pavano? :funny: He was above .500 but that was the only decent stat he had this year.

Yes, homefield advantage seems to help them a bunch. Although remember, one of the losses early on was from our bullpen problems early in the season, and the last two game was cause the Angels were in an offensive slump, which after these last few games, is now charged up. I don't know, the Angels could give you competition, especially with Lackey and Weaver all charged up. I think the best hope could be if the Twins can force the Yankees to extra games. Either way, this will be one competive series. Agree?

It's a good thing for Papelbon it wasn't a contract year for him. His ERA was great, but he didn't feel anywhere near as automatic as he did over the previous two years.

Also hope Dodgers get to WS as La has Angels California connection and Torre has New York connection so it works either way.

Two sweeps and no exciting games.

The most exciting game was Yankees/Twins G2. And it was only exciting once the 9th inning hit.

Other than that though... ugh.

Ugly games.

Game 1 was awful pitching by a Cy Young contender. Game 2 was a HUGE error that could've made the series SOMEWHAT interesting.

see I knew no one could be that stupid as you as you are just trying to say stupid stuff. No one can be as dumb as you, at least hope not.

Anyway to all other baseball fans here...do we want colorado or philly in this year...as yanks just have to get through 2 more innings....

PS. See Brady is still f'ing up games, lol. so how many years since he won a super bowl, even though it was with alittle or ALOT of cheating.

Bring them on. I was watching the game, and the Twins blew some great opportunities (along with game 2) with mental errors on the basepaths.

so as I expected...Yankees, Angels and Dodgers are in and looks like Colorado might put up a good fight.

PS. Don't get so cocky. It's too bad this didn't go another game and use up CC for starters.

Now the Yankees get to re-set their rotation starting with CC and AROD and Tiexiera proved this series that they are a great pair of clutch power hitters.
