A pedophile rapist who wants to lick your ass... I'm just gonna soak that in and savor it.
In trade deadline news, according to Yahoo the Red Sox have offered Toronto Clay Buccholz, Michael Boden, and their most prized prospect in Single-A Lowell whose name escapes me, for Roy Halladay. I wonder who leaked the story... "Hello, JP here. Philly, New York, Los Angeles? This is what the Sox are offering. Can anyone do better?"

On Halladay, it will be surprising if Toronto doesn't trade him. I know Toronto wants everything for him but in the end I hope they make a deal. If they get 3/4 good players/prospects, that along can turn around a team.

Bad Red Sox and Yankee Losses Tonight. At Least the Wild Card race is tightening with Tampa and Texas.

Agree, I think the race for the division and Wild Card for the West and East will be tight indeed until the end. The Central has a tight race too, but none of them are even high enough for the Wild Card. Also, The Angels almost threw it away again, but they survived this time.

Not really as Dodgers are pretty much set for playoffs and Boston blows a big game with the Red Sox allowing 3 runs in 9th. Now Texas in like 1 game back of Boston for the wild card.

Dodgers have lost 3 in a row for the first time this season. They have lost the last 2 games by a combined score of 16-1.
Not looking good.

Wow Mark Shapiro is retarded. The Phillies get Cliff Lee without giving up either of the three prospects Toronto wanted for Halladay. And they also get Ben Francisco... I want a list of teams that have traded reigning Cy Young winners in consecutive years.

It's like "Major League"
FU Cleveland management. I'm now a Cubs or Dodgers fan. I gotta decide. Maybe I'll enjoy the Tribe again when Shapiro/Wedge/Dolan are gone.

Well, at least this will help the Phillies with their shaky pitching staff. With Lee, it looks like they will contend with the Dodgers to get to the WS.
And once again, Lackey dominated yet again.

Brad Penny certainly helped his case tonight. Time to overpay Theo. Throw in an extra prospect or two.

Re: 2009 Major League Baseball Discussion
I think Ryan Howard is next. His body has roids written all over it. And that year where he hit like 58 home runs with like 20 games left is way too suspicious
I still have faith Pujols is clean because his numbers have gotten like better the last 2 years, when it's clear it's like impossible to juice anymore. I think he's great because of his vision and coordination and is just a strong dude. Same with Prince Fielder

Since all the names come from the 2003 list, Howard can't be on it

Re: 2009 Major League Baseball Discussion
And then Ortiz hits a home run today. Perfect. (Sigh) What can you do? It's hardly a shock considering the start he had to this season. The MLB needs to release the rest of the list though. It's not going to happen because the players were promised that the list would be kept secret/destroyed ( ), but they just need to clear the air at this point.
