Location: Suisse? You're from Switzerland? But even if you are american, I don't see any particular reason to worry.

If China would ever start expanding it's territories, they would do it towards Taiwan, Mongolia, Russia, North-Korea... Europe or USA aren't really in the top of their priorities in that sense. Sure, it would create instability in the region, but it's not a direct threat for your life.

Besides, the way things are going in China, they might well turn into a democratic nation in the next 10-20 years.

Chinese don't really dream of conquering the world. There isn't any ideological background for such dreams among them.

The Chinese love their dictators more than even the Russians.

No reason to fear China, though. They demographically fucked themselves over. India will pass them eventually.

What's to fear about China?

I like Chinese people. I think their government is fine for their people except for the extreme level of surveillance the citizens have to deal with on and off the internet and the repression of the people of Tibet.

Yeah, because the Uyghurs and political dissidents are doing great.
