loyalfromlondon wrote: Outside of Argos and maybe Karl, most people seem to understand Argos has many accounts here.
I dont think people would really have an issue with those accounts being removed, nor do I think it would kick off a rash of witch hunts.
If anything, letting the accounts remain gives the green light to other users to create duplicate accounts. It is quite a shock that they're still posting. I mean, I don't have a problem with it as it is quite amusing to watch Argos act out the different facets of his personality. It's still one the biggest rules on most forums and like you said, just giving the green light for others to do the same.

 Re: So...
There is nothing I can do against this nonsense, I guess. That we all use different IPs (always from the same internet providers) appears to mean little even to those who ought to be capable of understanding IP-related possibilities and impossibilities.

 Re: So...
I very much doubt they are Argos double accounts, the posting style is different. They are all German's for sure, they all carry the German oddball gene (every country has different types of oddball this is the German one), but you can tell its different people. For one Cabuche and Samurai are far more theatrical then Argos.

 Re: So...
I found it interesting that soon as Argos was banned in June, a new forum was created by torri and you people were more active there than you are on here.
These "accounts" only showed up when he was banned. I don't believe in coincidences and Irish midgets getting sex.

 Re: So...
Loyal,
Just because you believe in Santa, doesn't mean some jolly fat man flyies around the globe every December 25th delivering presents to the children of the world.
You can conjecture, guess and speculate until you turn blue in the face, but the actual facts of this situaiton remain that there is not now, nor has there ever been, any semblance of proof linking the accounts of Argos and those you've named. You can't simply scream IP spoofing in some broad scope and call it evidence, we're not getting DOS'ed here, and there isn't any evidence pointing to spoofing of any kind.
So sure, maybe I'm the only one who thinks BKB is Korragan's baby's daddy, but I'm also the only one looking at the DNA test while everyone else is sourcing LA Deli.

The only thing I guess I can ask in response is am I the only person, owner, admin, or mod, who thinks to some degree Argos isn't on the up and up? The answer OF COURSE is no, I'm definitely not the only person. You can look at the mod threads, you can go over the list of bannings. There have been debates at great length as to the legitimacy of those mysterious accounts. You may have the DNA tests but you yourself also disqualified Argos from this fucked up election Karl. He's not fit for an admin position, nor is he fit for a mod position. His list of bannings and the reasoning for those bannings suggest he isn't even fit to be member most times. The games he's playing at this exact moment with the new admins only further highlight this.

I never said he was on the up and up, in fact, I removed him because I felt he wasn't capable of handling the position he was running for. But, there has been no evidence to the effect of him having multiple accounts as you are accusing. If you want to argue he is unfit to be a mod, you won't find any argument from me, but that is now torrino's decision and I trust his judgement, whatever he may decide. Look, Argos isn't an idiot. Quite the contrary, he's a very bright individual, arguably with a twisted mind. Does he have the capacity to be a great mod? I think so. Would he be? I doubt it.
