Post Re: WoKJ Admin Election - User Discussion
Those rules, and even the number of posts in the past month are simply too arbitrary. Just because a member isn't currently active doesn't mean they can't return in the future. Maybe they didn't like what the board had become, but under the right management, they would return. It's not fair to discount their vote simply because they have been inactive.

That said, votes from people who have reappeared make me wonder just how sincere they are, especially those posters who have had problems behaving in the past. Those users model the situation I am currently unsure how to handle, and as I said, I'll think more on it.

I'm pretty sure you answered your concerns in this very post. This:

seems to cover it very well.

Give one example where Minnie or Juju "misbehaved". Honestly Karl cop on.

I never named any names, and the post was not directed at any one user. The fact is multiple users who have left the forum or are now inactive have come back simply to vote in this election. Some of those same users have been warned, etc. It is what it is, and the post was in reference to me deciding how to handle that situation.

Well remember not to post snide remarks in a vague manner in future and it will all be good.

There was nothing snide about my remarks, that you chose to take them in that manner speaks more to you and your perceptions.

There's only four people left. Why is the next step still between three people and not two? This is only eliminating one person, making this step almost useless.

Because other than kicking me out of the election, Eagle made no other changes even with two candidates that were clearly going no where and dropped out early.

Also I haven't totaled votes lately but once it was close to being 25 % for each +/- 5 %. So if the same people vote for the 3 same people that move on > the bottom 20% will be the ones who decides the next ADM.

PS. I now consider two candidates worthy and I might change my vote depending on who needs it by Sunday.

I voted corpse, but simply because it looked like Torrino was getting plenty of votes and corpse needed my support more. I still can not make up my mind at all, they both have different positive and negative attributes, it's like a giant war raging in my head!

Exactly. If they don't know how to behave, and feel OK offending others, they get their ass kicked, so they'll think next time before opening their rotten mouths.

quick recap as of now if no one changes votes...59 votes.

C-16
T-16
A-15
******
MQ-12

* Also it is interesting that with 5844 registered members on KJ, the ADM position is being turned over one who doesn't even have 20 people who are voting for them. That's .002!

It's starting to look like Corpse is pulling ahead and torrino fading, so I switched to torrino. Jason, I'll make it clear this is not an implication as to what my final vote shall be, I am just trying to keep you both in till the next round, don't think I'm betraying you, I haven't made a decision as to which I support yet, I want you both there.

I still don't quite understand what we are voting for right now. The thread title says nomination someone. Is there a limit to number of nominees for admin?
