Re: WoKJ Admin Election - User Discussion
Personally I think that Murato's extra comment in the other thread should be removed as it is bringing extra attention to the Torrino vote.
Just trying to be fair!

Edited by Murato: Only add the candidate's name, Jeff. Nothing less and nothing more under rule #2. BJ, I also deleted your follow up post since its in violation with the rules in this thread 2) Each post should contain ONLY the candidates name you wish to vote for. Nothing else. Any posts containing more will be deleted. 3) Users who continue to post in this thread without following the rules will be banned. > would 2 times be considered this? Lucky Murato doesn't think so.

Im part of the modding team that enforces part of Eagle's rule and when a post was modified like Jeff was, Im supposed to bring attention to him. How else would he be able to know that it was changed without his consent

How else would he be able to know that it was changed without his consent Personally I would have deleted it...as I think Eagle has done to another already...and then PM'ed Jeff if you wanted to...even though the rules are clearly stated. But that is just me.

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - User Discussion
I have no real problem with it either, the rules were clearly laid out and I don't think it's too much to ask.
In any event, I'll PM Murato's note to the user's in question and remove it since that will accomplish the same end.

This election is for Admin over the whole web-site and not just the forums. Correct? Asked because everyone seems to only be mentioning the forums and not the whole web-site.

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - User Discussion
This election is for Admin of the forum, not the entire website.
Though I will say that as Admin, if you had ideas for the main site, or for things the forum could use that would fit on the main site like the BO Calculator or anything else relevant... well you would be able to get the ear of the owners better than any other member, and I'd certainly be willing to listen.

if anyone is curious.....a good fight is going on for the 3rd and final spot after 43 votes (44 posts) if all present votes are good and counted!
Your candidates: ----- Argos - 8 ----- Corpse - 12 ----- Maguire - 0 ----- MikeQ. - 9 ----- Munksyuk - 1 ----- Torrino - 13

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - User Discussion
just two comments....
* I see that you have been summarizing the comments...and it is getting messy....as now some comments are doubled up. Think that after you summarize some topics to the top, the doubles can be removed, IMO.
* On this questions, think it should have went further as it should have ALSO asked about how he would be supervising the MOD team on this issue...as I think in the long term, the MODS will be more important daily than the ADM. So how will he deal with his whole team on this issue.
Second question to the candidates:
Many of you are in school, others working. When life gets more demanding, and at times when you would typically just post less, you will now be required to continue checking the forum. What plans do you have to deal with this issue?
You may use 250 words to answer this question.

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - User Discussion
Grill, these questions are user submitted. If you, or anyone else, would like to submitt a question to the candidates, please PM me with the question.
As for the doubling up, I think it's fine. Everything is in the first 3 posts, if someone wants to look below, they can see the progression of the thread.

Corpse did not answer question #1.
I smell foul play.

Re: WoKJ Admin Election - User Discussion
My rough calculations, so far its...
Torrino 13 corpse 13 MikeQ 9 Argos 8
Didnt realise its that close.
Eagle, does the candidate with the most votes in the nomination thread automatically become Admin or do we get another chance to vote for the top two vote getters??

It will close at some time on the 14th, likely early morning ET, but I don't know for sure.

So on the 4th day, only 2 questions asked! No one else has any other questions to ask? I tried to send in a couple of questions but guess they weren't good enough to be offical questions....hope some others can start asking questions as their responses have been interesting! ************
Questions for the candidates. From: Grill Sent at: Tue Jun 09, 2009 7:27 am To: Eagle
* What are the most immediate changes that you are thinking about making to the present layout of forums topics, either additions or subtractions.
* Are there any present forum rules you aren't happy with and any new forum rules that you want to incorporate.
