Just Amazing, especially with everything happening...LeBron James' three-pointer at buzzer lifts Cavaliers

By Lisa Dillman

Cleveland forward LeBron James, who finished with 35 points, elevates above Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu for the game-winning three-point shot Friday night.

Facing a potential 0-2 deficit to the Magic, Cleveland star comes through when he's most needed in a 96-95 win to even the Eastern Conference series

Depends what the Cavaliers do from here. If they lose two out of three in Orlando this will be long forgotten about.

greatest shot of all-time? That would Jordan's last second shot over Byron Russell to win the Championship. Oh and it wasn't in a game where they blew a 23 point lead in the second half and should have lost the game.

Not talking about how the rest of the whole game unfolded.

and here it was for the win and not to go down 0-2. Pressure!

Anyway, for me, for that to take just a second from start to finish...perfect form with the defender on him to the all net shot...I have never seen better.

Other plays may have been longer but that was the perfect 1 second shot...

i'd definitely call it the greatest clutch play in cleveland playoff sports history. probably top 10 in all time nba playoff shots. to have the confidence to hit that shot knowing that if he misses the cavs season is pretty much over is amazing.

QFT

It's only Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

LOL Grill are you really that dense?

Buzzer beater in Game 6 of the NBA Finals to WIN the championship vs. Buzzer beater in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Take your pick.

The game 6 shot wasn't a buzzer beater. And it was on the road. Those are the two things against it. In terms of significance it's #1.

so 2 ???? still want to argue, LOL!!!!

sure, Jordan really was feeling the pressure to hit this > PLEASE give me a break!

Finally, he buried the game-winning shot, a 20-footer with 5.2 seconds left, that gave the Bulls an 87-86 victory and their sixth championship in eight years.

compared to James making that shot as the whole play took 1 second and James with no championships and about to go down 0-2 in this series. :shades: :shades: :shades:

You're right. I mixed that Jordan shot up with one of his buzzer beaters. Regardless, that shot was much more important than this one.

I would also put the 2002 WCF shot by Robert Horry over this one.

can't even get your facts straight, yah your the expert.

anyway, sure it would n't have made a big deal if the Cavs went down 0-2 and then had to go on the road for the next bunch of games. Sure, no big deal!!!!!!!

When did I claim I was an expert? I apologize for not basing my life around an event that happened more than a decade ago.

And when did I say the shot yesterday wasn't important? Stop putting words in my mouth. I'm just it wasn't the greatest shot of all time.

If it was in the finals, maybe. But otherwise, not quite with THE BEST. Top ten if Cleveland wins the title I suppose though. Anyways...

This wins... even if they ended up losing and it was mostly luck. It still wins :hahaha:

Close second

I guess Jordan's shot was pretty good too

Actually you know what. Even if the Cavs go on to win the series, the shot's not really close to the top. It'll probably make it on the list, but not in the top three.

Don't bother with 2 or 1 because they're the same as Shack's.

Mourning's, Horry's, Stockton's, and Jordan's are easily better. They'll remain better even if the Cavs beat the Magic.

First, forget West's one as that wasn't even a shot, it was a chuck. Then we can talk about how good the Harlem Globetrotters are at making those shots.

The second one is similiar to James and just shows the biased views of you guys.

I am not going to go into all of these but first forget about half of them. Any of them, where the guy had a clear shot to the hoop amd was coming straight in with alot more time and no defenders - Makes it alot easier.

More on these later. But there are 3/4 decent ones to talk about.

Going to try to find James as funny that no one would post it to break it down.

Lebron James score 3-point game winning shot

http://video.aol.com/video-detail/lebro ... IDLRVSPR05

Here is it, love to see some of the above tell me why this shot shouldn't be considered.

* Whole Play took 1 second
* James had a defender on him.
* James wasn't facing the basket
* Shot was a 30 foot fade away that was perfect from James' form to the almost net ball.
* Shot kept Cavs from going down 0-2 and going on the road.
* Everyone always says James has everything but a ring, he alone kept them in this series cause they wouldn't come back from 0-2.

etc as those are just some quick points, more later if needed...
