Well we probably won't win the lottery but I'm hoping Washington gets #2, which would make getting Rubio a possibility in the Bosh trade sweepstakes... he'd make too much sense to be our next franchise guy with the Euro Raptors staff/mafia in charge and Colangelo always building around PGs...

All western conference teams lol. And the two worst teams get hosed again. So now Blake Griffin goes to either the Thunder, Clippers, or Grizzlies. As long as it isn't the Clippers (please don't be the Clippers), he should instantly make whoever he's on a playoff team. So that means Dallas or Utah is falling out of the playoffs.

And Blake Griffin's career is already over. What a bummer.

hahahhah poor Blake. What kind of luck is it to land on the team with the only absolutely unmoveable, unbench-able if you don't want a fight, PF in the league. Welcome to LA, signed Zach, Mike, and Ricky.

LA already has an excess of big men.

And they have a terrible fanbase. LA is Laker City. Maybe the Anaheim crowd will throw full support behind them now.

They also have a terrible head coach and GM.

edit* Also, the last time they had the #1 pick they chose Michael Olowokandi. Had to add that.

They should move to Seattle.

Thabeet and Rubio will really help the Grizzlies and Thunder though. The Grizzlies might not be able to pass up Rubio, but there's no doubting that they need big men.

I think Memphis is going to try hard to get Griffin... not because he's that much better than Rubio (if he is at all), but because he'd fit perfectly at PF. Something about Rudy Gay screams "He's a Clipper player through and through!", though he'd probably be too much to move up just from 2 to 1. Will see.

Dammit it all. We had that game. WE HAD IT! Freaking a. We missed 12 free throws. 11. 21-33 or something. What the heck. Billups missed 3. Smith missed 4. Seriously, if we could have hit our free throws this would have been a different game.

And what's with giving Anthony Carter the ball on the inbouds? He's reknown for making stupid passes like that. Horrible substitution.

And what a game by Melo. Great offense, great defense. Great over all play.

O well. We can still come back. We got this if we keep playing well.

It was 23-35. I guess I missed two.

We could have blown it open so much more the 1st quarter.

We can do this. If Melo plays like that all series (70% shooting ... seriously) we can do this.

LeBron is gonna have to win it by himself. Mo, Delonte, and most of all Z just aren't providing enough offense to support LeBron.

Lebron needs to stop attempting threes and just drive it to the hole so he get higher precentage shot or free throws. :disgust: :grrr: :disgust:

It's like the 2006 Cavs came out of the locker room after half time. What is this?

I knew all along that Lewis would be the only way the Magic could win. I didn't think it would be like that, but that team does not beat you with Dwight Howard.

Except Howard did more for his team tonight than LeBron did.

They still won because of their 3 point shooting though. When they started hitting them it was a completely different game.

The Magic did what they needed to do, but if they can somehow steal Game 2 (which I highly doubt will happen) against a much more refreshed Cavaliers team, they'll win the series. They're already in great shape with a win in Cleveland, but they've turned Game 2 into a must win for the Cavaliers. The Magic need to come out with the same attitude.

This reminds me the Lakers/Rockets series. Cavaliers will still prevail, but they'll have to do it in 7 games, maybe following the same win/loss pattern too. On the other side, I think Lakers could finish off Nuggets in 5.
