Dang it all K-mart. All you had to do was make your free-throws. But no, he didn't. Craptacular.

 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
Nuggets played much better last night. We had contributions from a number of people and Linas Kleiza played wonderfully.

 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
lol @ the Clippers, they started Brian Skinner and Deandre Jordan in their frontcourt today. Andrew Bynum - 36/12 with 4 minutes left in the 3rd. Kobe has 11 assists already

SHOULD BE SUPERSONICS!!!! Holy cow that was a great game to watch. Wild game with a wild finish. Green has the game-winner.
Maggette played well, but he's fouling a ton lately.

All-Star Game starting lineups
West G Chris Paul G Kobe Bryant F Amare Stoudemire F Tim Duncan C Yao Ming
East G Allen Iverson G Dwayne Wade F Lebron James F Kevin Garnett C Dwight Howard
Not perfect, but expected. Paul and Amare took over from Melo and Tmac late I believe.

Not that defense is played at all in the All Star game, but I wonder who lines up against Lebron. Timmy? He seems like the only one that could possibly keep up with him a little.

I really think the Celtics have no shot at this point. They're losing to either the Magic or Cavs in the playoffs. Uh-huh. It's a shame the Magic don't have anymore games out west. They'd have a shot at home court if that were the case.

 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
Lol, Bruce Bowen was 70k from starting in the all-star game.
Amare Stoudemire (Pho) 1,460,429 Bruce Bowen (SA) 1,392,398
Dirk Nowitzki (Dal) 1,107,926
Tony Parker (SA) 1,084,361
Yi was 200k behind Garnett.
Man Bowen starting with his 3ppg average would've been the greatest thing ever

Very good lineup actually; one of the most deserving sets of selections all around in recent years.

 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
I'm glad that the fans were smart enough to start CP3. All All-Star games must include either Nash, CP3 or Jason Kidd to run the offense for the West.

 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
Poor Golden State. I think they are 10 seconds away in the past three games from being 3-0 instead of 0-3. I saw it happen and the thing that killed me is that everyone knew, announcers included, that S. Jackson took the shot too early the previous possession, leaving too much time on the clock.

 Re: NBA 2008-2009 season
Quote: The mother of ex-Bulls player Eddy Curry's toddler son and her infant daughter were found Saturday fatally shot in her South Loop apartment, a source confirmed.
Police are searching for a "known acquaintance" of the woman in connection with the homicides.
Curry, who now plays for the New York Knicks, was in Philadelphia Saturday for a game. He was back in New York later that evening, distraught and contemplating a trip to Chicago, the source said.
Nova Henry, 24, and her infant daughter, Ava, were found at about 6 p.m. in the 0-99 block of West 15th Street, police said. Officers found Henry's 3-year-old son -- Curry's, according to the source -- in the Burnham Station apartment unharmed.
http://www.chicagobreakingnews.com/2009 ... -side.htmlCurry is officially having the worst year of any sports affiliated person ever... surreal. Guy's in the wrong crowd... don't know how you can't get yourself out of that shit with all those millions... guess this kid was pretty illegitimate... just a bad business...

Pretty proud of the way Rockets have played this past couple of weeks. Another nail-biter road win today, without Yao this time.

Nuggets took it to the Jazz today.
Also, D. Rose started out really hot and then went ice cold down the stretch.
