7-7. It's finally getting exciting. The first half is now over, and this game is going to be very close. I can see it going into overtime.

Being a neutral fan it hasn't been an impressive game so far. Both defenses are dominating, but it seems the Pats started to figure out the Eagles defense in the last two drives - which isn't a good thing if you're an Eagles fan...
Hope this one gets more exciting in the second half

Yeah, this definitely isn't a great game so far. It's close, but neither team is exactly playing great. It'll probably get better in the second half.

I'm confident that the Eagles will step it up in the second half...

Why did they get McCartney for the halftime show? Did they want someone that didn't have boobs so there would be no accidents?

Hehe...they just showed the wardrobe malfunction again on german tv...

McCartney is just singing the motto of his performance: "Get Back to where you once belonged"

to be honest ...

my review of the first half ..:

Eagles dominated defensivly until the last drive ... the patriots were able to run on that last drive ... if that happens durring the second half we wont be able to win.

We have to stop their run first and formost.

I think the eagles are the better team (despite what most people think) and I think that we have out played them so far.

We squanderedd 2 red zone attempts and finally capitiliazed on the third. We need more efficiency in the second half.

Make it happen eagles.

If the Eagles win, no one will be going to school tomorrow or Tuesday. Tuesday is our parade if we win, so I'll definently be going.

my review is slightly different. The Eagles wasted a big chance with their turnovers. They could have broken open the game in the first 25 minutes, but McNabb made some really bad individual mistakes. You just can't do that against the Pats. Now the Pats defense and their offense have adjusted to the Eagles' game. The last two Pats drives were really good. If Brady hadn't fumbled that ball, it wouldn't be a tie game now.
If the Eagles can't readjust during half-time this game will slip away from them...

Well, thats true and I agree - the Eagles were the better team in the first half, but Brady makes the difference! The defense of the Patriots was pretty good and you could easily see that McNabb had his problems with them... :???:

I just hope the teams didn't listen to this halftime-show. Otherwise they'll need the complete third quarter to wake up again... Horrible!!

I didn't mind McCartney...

That might be because watching what's left in him after all these years can be entertaining, along with seeing how he does without the other three Beatles ;)

The songs weren't that bad.

It would be better for you to bet on the Patriots, because if they lose you still won some $$$! If they win, you would win here in this thread!

The show was boring and the songs were twenty years old. Although everyone is talking only about the Jackson accident, last year they had a great lineup of stars which I'd prefer to any one-man-show since you cover more music styles. I wouldn't mind McCartney performing one song and maybe a duet with someone else, but the whole 15 minutes was too much...

Anyhow back to the game. Pats are rolling...

Not the way Philly needed to start this half. I think they need to respond on this drive coming up with a touchdown to stay in the game mentaly.
