Arsi, I read the first paragraph of your first long winded post, and in your defense of her, you defended me. (accidentally, of course) I didn't read further and don't intend to. I've no interest in anything you really have to say, as it's always fucked up.

I would like to apologize to Mav for:

1) Once posting a private PM in the mod forum. Even if it was several years ago, that was extremely bad judgment.

2) Giving him the impression that I was liking things he didn't and hating things he liked for no reason other than to piss him off. Mav brings up Clint Eastwood often, but really all that happened with that was that I disliked Flags of Our Fathers. Really, that's all it was. It didn't have anything to do with Mav.

3) Giving off an image of "Captain KJ." If I ever came across like that, it's only because I really do like being on this site and being able to talk to some nice people online. I've aid this before, but I like keeping my personal life relatively separate from online. It feels like I get to live two different worlds sometimes.

4) If I was ever "rude" to new people in the past. As you can see with the recent addition of newcomers, I think I have been friendly to them.

5) Saying that thing about "getting it up" or whatever it was I said. I was heated during that. It was a bad thing to say.

With that said, I still believe the character defamation is unfair. I have apologized for all this stuff and am sincere about it. So I would really appreciate if you could stop personally attacking me. I am asking. I'm not begging, I'm not trying to be cold about it. I am genuinely asking.

This is all really painful to read, on so many levels.

I must admit to being disgusted that in any way shape or form that this is being looked at as even remotely Libs's fault. There is absolutely nothing at all that Libs has ever done to deserve the verbal beating she has taken from Maverikk.

It is very clear from Mav's own words that he does not like the people here, does not like the admins/mods, that he is only hear to create drama, and has even very recently asked to have his account removed. It is also very clear that warning and short term bannings do nothing, and we're always back in this SAME situation time and time again, only with another person that Mav has chosen to do this to.

To put a person who has said all of these things, and professed to be all of these things, and has been banned/warned numerous times for this same behavior on equal footing as somebody like Libs is an insult to her and any other member that this happens to.

To make Libs at all feel like she is responsible, or to the point where she feels necessary to apologize for this situation is freakin' crazy!

I have great respect for the owners, admins, and mods of this site, and I know you're all trying really hard to do the "right" thing, but in the process, I think you're making a huge mistake here.

At some point and time the powers to be will have to consider a perma-ban, or at least a long term one.

Come on Joe... that's bullshit. There are a lot of married people on the board, including me, Libs, and Groucho. Being married does not mean you're having sex 24/7 and never use the computer (it's more like sex for 12 hours every day...).

And, Libs demonstrates time and time again that she likes being here, likes the members here, and has a fun time here. She has never done anything here that deserves the abuse she has taken. Period.

Libs has always treated me like crap, that's one reason.

Well, Joe... you vs. Libs is an entirely different story, and we'll derail this thread if we go into that. And, I don't see you yelling and swearing at Libs and calling her and her family names, either. If she treated you wrong, you are handling it in a mature fashion, and would encourage you to continue that, or to attempt to work out your differences with her via PM... she seems quite reasonable to me, and I'm guessing she would be willing to talk with you about it.

But, again... this situation isn't about your dealings with her.

Several people have their differences, and I have had many differences with Mav, but no matter how many times he has called me a "retarded asshole" I have never once swore at him or called him a name. NEVER.

Bottom line, Joe... I think it's wrong to advocate calling somebody a name, making fun of their family, or swearing at them, regardless of the situation. And, I'm guessing you'd agree with that, no?

I can recall more than one occasion where people have made fun of/demeaned me for my battle with depression, some even going as far as to say they want me dead.

Im sorry the owners dont have to bothered with this stuff, it sucks that they have to subjected to this bs yet it gets out of hand so much that they have to voice their opinions at times. As part the staff, we think we could get a good grasp of things. The rules are already laid out for you Mav about personal attacks and how aggressive your posts are to Libs or the next person who you may have a grudge with.
