The US 4x200m Freestyle relay team just DESTROYED the record and the rest of the world. First team to get under 7 minutes.
USA 6:58 minutes second place team (Russia) 7:03 minutes.
Phelps got his 5th Gold (11th all-time).

I feel so sorry for Alicia. That's unfortunate but mistakes happen and it just wasn't their day sadly. I do think that Liukin and Johnson will be heavily involved in the all around though, so redemption for this team medal can be found there hopefully.

Ya know I also think that having Marta Karoli there is bit overrated. I think I'd rather have Bela there with his exuberance and boisterous encouragement rather than this cuddly feel good method...
