And when you go running around reporting people when your the person that is starting everything, no one is going to take your reports seriously, as they shouldn't.

We are only capable of dealing with what happens HERE and the circumstances which occur HERE. We can not start taking into account things outside the forum, however dire they may be. It opens up a whole can of worms we are not capable of dealing with. What? there's no KJ Emergency Intervention Jetcopter after all?!?

Other person: Look's pretty awful Joe: HOW DARE YOU ATTACK ME. FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU. DON'T ATTACK ME. I'M REPORTING YOU. The end.

I recall when I was a member of the forums at Joblo.com and a person posted on the forum that they were suicidal. Well, the Mods got in contact with the local authorities for that person to get them the help they needed.

Joe,
We are not Joblo, the rules and guidelines that apply there do not here. We have our own guidelines. There is no universal rule which states that if a person is having problems at home, the Mods and Admins of the forum he posts on are required to take that into account and be active in finding that person a solution. If that's the type of response you are looking for, maybe you are posting on the wrong forum.

Considering how much you say I've helped you out, that's quite callous to say the least and you really are the jerk Corpse told me you are.

There is no correlation between what happens in your personal life and your arguments in the forum. I dont know how you cant make a distinction between someone hating horror films and thinking it sucks as an attack on your broken home. Its not as though most of the attacks from people were based on your troubled family. If they were, I would look at it more clearly

Re: Don't close threads for no reason
Its in your perspective but how am I exactly going to explain to the other party that what they said was wrong. How exactly could I warn the other party for using sarcasm that wasnt even that harsh to begin with was justified? How exactly am I supposed to warn someone responding back after being called an asshole?

Get a grip Joe.
If your personal life is indeed out of control, take responsibility for yourself and call for professional help in your local area right now.

Re: Don't close threads for no reason
Joe,
You do a great job writing for the main site. I've said it once, and I'll loudly say it another hundred times. You really do help us out a lot, and I can't thank you enough for it.
The fact that this forum's admins and owners will not intervene in your real life has nothing to do with the work you do for the main site, nor does it have anything to do with how much we may or may not like you. As I said above, you have helped this site out a lot, but I don't feel comfortable intervening in your life.
Leaving the legal nightmare out of this, I simply don't know you on a personal level, and I don't interact with you on a personal level. Our interaction is based soely around this site, and our relationship begins and ends at that point. The internet is just that, the internet. If you want advice on your situation, start a thread, those interested in participating can do so. If you want help, go get help. You control your environment more than you seem willing to accept.

Re: Don't close threads for no reason
you said you were in college and its not like they lock you in the house preventing you from watching movies. You're adult enough to leave and big enough to defend yourself.

" Calling Officer Montana... this is the KJ command centre... we have a 10-16 in progress... make your way to the crime scene immediately..." KJ is not your personal emergency dispatch centre. Local help includes more long term and confidential solutions than just calling the police or Children's Aid. Dig around, make some calls - - help yourself.

Box and others would just attack me on a personal level and they'd get away with it because I would not trust the mods to do their job properly until I get assurance from them that they would monitor things closely before going ahead with the thread. I'd be happy to get in contact with you via phone if you want. It would be nice to know who I'm writing for beyond just PMs and emails.

I cannot drive and they're forcing me to live at home instead of on campus (money issues). If it was up to me, I'd drop out until I could afford to live on campus.
