Re: Official Euro 2008 Thread!!!!!! Predict!!!
I love Turkey's heart, but they dont have a chance against Germany, they are to banged up and are missing a lot of good players, germany will easily dominate.

And it could have easily been 2-0, but Turkey is dominating anyway from the start.

Re: Official Euro 2008 Thread!!!!!! Predict!!!
Maybe it's Germany's strategy to let Turkey score first after what they saw the last three games?

That's one of the things people were joking about: since Turkey played so well down 0:1 or 0:2, you may as well try to let them score first to disrupt their feeling, and they may not know how to hold a lead. Just random chatters on how to beat an amazingly resolved team (score 1 in the first half? I'll get two in the second; score 2 in the first 60 minutes? I'll score 3 in the final 15; score 1 in the last minute? I'll score in the last second and win in penalties).

Re: Official Euro 2008 Thread!!!!!! Predict!!!
The tying goal was pure luck. The team is lacking the energy from Lehmann who is very shaky today to Klose. They're not pressing at all. If they don't turn it up they deserve to lose

German goal aside, Turkey has been playing much better. Germany will get smoked by Spain if they both play in the final.
